Let me recount yesterday's experience shiny hunting bc it was fuckign BONKERS

I go for Carbink first in the little cave below the Crystal Pool. I do the neat little picnic respawn trick to get all the spawns to be Carbink. I strap myself in for a long hunting session. On my second picnic respawn, shiny Carbink manifests into existence. ON MY SECOND TRY,

(But look at it this shiny is so pretty and not talked about enough. It's very similar to Diancie's which I think is super cool, I love how they tied them in together like that)

2. I find a Grubbin outbreak! Yeah! In the middle of auto battling, a random shiny Luxio charges straight at me. This was without any sandwich buffs either this was just a full odds wild shiny. OKAY. SURE. WHY NOT.

3. There's a Volbeat outbreak and I'm like YELL HEAH bc Volbeat has such an underrated shiny. It's SO pretty look at him

PEAK color scheme. Anyway. In the middle of this Volbeat outbreak, one (1) Illumise spawns. And guess what. YEAH. IT'S FUCKING SHINY. OF COURSE.

4. I catch the Illumise. I am salty but also happy bc Illumise has a p good shiny anyway. But I still wanted a Volbeat. Before I can seethe for too long, not even 5 minutes pass before a shiny Volbeat spawns. NEVER PUNISHED

5. I go back to try the Grubbin outbreak. I do have a sandwich on this time so there's Grubbin and Charjabug everywhere, even outside of the outbreak spawn point. I wonder around for 10 minutes and LO AND BEHOLD. Shiny Grubbin. Not even part of the outbreak!!

So not only did I get two random shinies that were grouped in with outbreaks, I also got all the other Pokemon I was hunting for?? It was INSANE. Watch me shiny hunt tonight and get absolutely nothing bc I used up all my luck yesterday lmao
