vecna: *literally states that he wants to reshape the world*
will, since season one: *is highly likely to be the reason the upside down looks like hawkins and why it’s STILL stuck on the day he arrived despite the fact that vecna has been there the entire time, has likely had true sight even before he got there because otherwise how did he see joyce’s letters on the wall, also probably had some other kind of power that allowed him to talk to her on the phone, likely saw the upside down (or vecna at least) before he ever went there because his zombie boy drawing looks an awful lot like vecna did when he first came upon the mind flayer, will was never eaten by the demogorgons only chased by them, he was taken to the library in one piece with not a scratch on him by the demogorgons which is at the center of all the rifts in season four, will suffered no permanent damage after they resuscitated him in season one which could mean that he was being kept alive by the vine/demoslug and only quit breathing/died after they pulled him out which is interesting because all of the other victims are dead and half-eaten, will is good at hiding, will escapes from his harsh world in fantasy ones, will is extraordinarily artistically talented and able to draw things that other kids his age can’t alluding to the fact that he has an imagination like no other etc etc, and insert literally any of the million hints that the show has given us about will being special and creative and thus necessary for world creation time and time again and not to mention the fact that will and vecna are literally narrative foils light/dark love/hate hope/bitterness etc etc*
way too many people, right after watching the show: oh my god.... i can’t believe vecna is going to target [insert any other character here] because he needs them for [insert the most nonsensical batshit idea you’ve ever heard in your life here] 🤯😱😰😧
