The Taj Mahal also has extended hours during the annual  Urs festival, which is held in honor of the Sufi saint, Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti. During the Urs festival, which lasts for six days, the Taj Mahal is open from sunrise to midnight, allowing visitors to enjoy the monument’s beauty under the stars.
