TEAM GAMBIA!

Gambia is located in the West of Africa. It is situated in the left of the Senegal and is almost entirely surrounded by the state. The Gambia has a population of 2.101 million (2017) and is described at cripplingly poor. This means to an extent that causes a severe or almost insuperable problem. This photograph was sent to me at the weekend by my Uncle. My Uncle is currently working at a school in The Gambia where he is training the women like that of those in the image above. He teaches the English language alongside sanitation methods. These women would then spread across the state helping at charities or hospitals. This post is dedicated to my Uncle. He truly inspires me to do something I love. He loves helping people. This is a true team. Football teams have nothing on TEAM GAMBIA. This is how a people from all over the world, join and become a team. First, and most importantly, they find a common ground. For this team, it is helping. That is why this team is inseparable. 

I love that they are all so colourful. Not only through the clothes they have on, but the smiles they wear. They are happy, happy with what the are doing! This image inspires me. it inspires my hunger to follow a passion that makes me this happy. For me, my passion is Graphic Design, it is creating aesthetic pieces of work that people look at and double think.
