1st gif - Nina and Crowley are standing outside the coffee shop. Nina has her arms crossed and asks him, "You got a husband? A boyfriend? Is the bookseller your bit on the side?" 2nd - Crowley, scoffing, replies, "He's not my 'bit on the side'! He's far too pure of heart to be anyone's 'bit on the side'.” 3rd - Looking away for a second, Crowley adds, “He's just... an angel I know." 4th - Nina doesn’t seem convinced. She shrugs a bit and says, "If you say so. But then, other people's love lives always seem so much more straightforward than our own.” 5th - Crowley frowns, off-balanced, and turns away. / End of set.

#That's how I read it as well yeah (Fs in chat /j)#The thing about this too is like; unless there's some in-universe translation fuckery going on (which is both the technical writing term an #entirely possible); he's been calling Aziraphale 'angel' out loud this whole time. To other people. Including Nina here #Like he knows that they (general London population) Don't know that Aziraphale is literally an angel;; right #And that yeah it's technically accurate but he has to get the social implications of calling someone 'angel' poetically.
