I'm waiting for vets to open so I can take this cat I found in to check for microchips. Literally why do they open at like 8 am. Who does this benefit???

#The ARL in town doesn't open til noon either #and they're gonna be the more likely option #like yeah I'm sure a vet can give me an answer but what do I do from there?#Go to the person's house and talk to them?#like 'Hi yeah I found your collarless cat in my yard at like 2 am so I took him inside anyways if this happens again I wont return him'#it doesn't help that he keeps trying to climb on my desk and knocked my TV over once already doing so
