Sometimes looking at art of two sibling coded characters together, who also have a rather large shipping corner of the fandom... there's always an internal battle of whether that's platonic artwork and okay to reblog, or if it's ship art and a new blocked account so you don't have to see that content.

Yall gotta be clearer and outright tag it as siblings or with a ship tag or whatever, just something

Mentioned it way earlier in morning so making the post about it. Am going to tag with a few food triggers tho cause dont wanna offend anyone. Uh this about Sigurd's eating thing so yeah please dont read if not ok with food related issues.

If wondering why I'd do this

1. the source material is very dark & twisted

2. Sigurd is a twist of a mask rather then a person so he is moldable like a mask and his father has been decorating for years.

In Sigurd's kingdom there is a issue with food given the land is completely dry. All food is imported and given out like a foodbank system once a month and its up to the person/parents of the household to keep meals as instructed so no one goes hungry. Also someone has to be working a job for the city or a job the city gave in order to get food.

Sigurd is the King so you assume he has to do nothing much as his all is done for him. Secretly very wrong. There is a number of hunger issues going on in Goblet Muse its a hot topic. As with the many questionable things his father has come up with..

Sigurd was instructed and forced to practice starving himself as he is the symbol of the city's peace campaign he must appear like the situations going on so those affected feel not alone...this is what his father came up with.

Small bites of fruits,mini snack cakes,and half cups of tea are mainly what Sigurd eats. He can't eat normal or full meals of food and meat makes him instantly sick. He continues this practice at NRC and is why Wriesa often finds him passed out. He has secretly tried pizza as Wriesa gave him some during their 1st year and the very small bite he had he loved but refuses to eat it much unless for a serious reason same as anything else due to the mindset of he needs to suffer cause others are his father placed upon him.

Even though its not helping him nutritionally wise Sigurd buys all his students meals for the day and does not restrict them on any of the food nrc has to offer. They are so grateful and always try to give him food but he refuses.

He takes various vitamins to try to help. Also while he has gone to the Infirmary and they know about his eating habits they were instructed to not do anything about that per paternal statement. An Infirmary doctor placed in his record that he very sure the severe lack of food,his height and the fact his wings weigh more then his body are highly likely the cause of some of his mental issues.

Btw this isn't the 1st time of food related issues with Sigurd as when was 10 his father thought if he starved him for a time he stop growing abit as Sigurd was 5ft tall at that age. His father didn't want him to be as a tall as a fae he was ok with just his eye color but it didn't work.

This can be a thing brought up in interactions or ships if want to help him with coping,healing,or getting help. Defaultly he will never mention it you will just see him never eat anything other then fruit,mini sweets and drink tea which comes off as elegant. He also will sit there watch you eat a normal meal and not bring it up. He will use his illusionary magic to make his plate look like he has eaten if brought a plate of food such as at other's parties or events.
