Tuvok and Seven should hang out like every other day for long stretches of time not saying a word to each other for hours on end. Some days they don’t say anything the entire time they hang out, they just meet at the agreed upon location and do their separate tasks/hobbies there before leaving.

#sometimes they don't even say 'hello' or 'goodbye' they just meet and leave #other people think this is weird so Seven endeavours to do things that these ppl suggest they do together...friend things...#and Tuvok goes along with it from a 'hm. interesting.' angle #but around halfway through activity 4 (consuming alcohol - which has no effect on Tuvok) he asks if Seven is enjoying herself #and she says no so he asks what she wants to do and she says she wants to make a star chart on paper #and Tuvok says they should do that then and they spend the rest of the evening making a gigantic detailed star chart in near silence #before Seven leaves Tuvok tells her that friendships look different from person to person and that the most important thing #is for both parties to enjoy themselves. Seven says she understands. Goodbye.(Goodbye.)#Seven tapes the star chart up in her storageroom bedroom and stares at it before nodding - satisfied. A good day overall!#I like Seven and Tuvok being like...friends! pals! not father-daughter #Tuvok is old so he's prone to saying mentor-y things to everyone he interacts with but I still like him seeing Seven on the whole #as more of a kindred spirit and a friend than a daughter.
