Alright so i was planning to tell yall about the short UTY AO3 fic i'm working on when it's actually done and show yall this cover piece i did at the same time- but since i'm rewriting it atm this cover art doesn't really fit the story anymore so i may as well show it

decided to go for heavy painting-like shading unlike my usual shading style with this piece, and i genuinely really like how it turned out

Thinking that, out of all the lieutenants, Le Vesconte may well have been the best choice.

Like, I don't actually believe that he would be seduced so easily. I believe he's ultimately a good person who's loyal to command (at least while Fitzjames still lives) and who, above all else, is loyal to the men.

But he's also pragmatic and ruthless, is capable of subterfuge, and ultimately, is willing to be at least somewhat complicit in the deaths of some men if it ensures his own survival and the survival of others.

Ok also. Since the besties (beloved mutuals) are now posting about Desunity. I need to speak my truth.

We write a lot of monsterfucker!fic for Dream and his partners for obvious reasons. Such as that he is an eldritch and unimaginably powerful being. And a lot of fic about weird dream sex. Because we assume that he'd have hookups in the Dreaming.

But Unity has *CANONICALLY*:

Had sex (and lived the majority of her life) in the Dreaming

Had sex (and potentially romanced) an Eldritch Being (Desire, her "golden-eyed" lover) in the Dreaming

Was a Dream Vortex, which I imagine contributed how she maintained enough mental power to create at least a *version* of a meaningful and full life while she was in the Dreaming

The Dream Vortex thing probably meant that she had at *least* a moderate degree of control for whatever corner of the Dreaming she made her own while in her coma

And. I'll go ahead and say it. She's literally a monsterfucker. She conceived a child in the Dreaming (where she's powerful enough to be world-ending in her own right, which only didn't come to pass because Dream was locked away in the snowglobe) with- again- her Eldritch Being Lover who she was in love with

and that dream sex was so powerful it resulted in a child in the real world

So. What I'm saying is that Unity Kincaid deserves infinitely more props and attention than she currently gets. And also. My beloved and wonderful mutuals should consider writing monsterfucker!Unity fic. For me.

how some people can look at Zhongli and Venti's dialogue during this Lantern Rite and interpret it as beefing instead of, you know, flirting truly blows my mind? like it's not just what they're saying, but also the way they're saying it. it's flirting, they're flirting. and even if they aren't flirting, that's obviously an inside joke? look at Venti's face when Zhongli acts like they're strangers, does it look like someone who can't stand the other and isn't willing to play along with the other's dumb idea? please. I don't understand how people can still think they hate each other even tho it's established that they're friends, not only through items lore and their own character stories (I really doubt someone like Zhongli would let a guy he hates forge his sigil, let him destroy his precious vase, let him pour wine on his head, and then yearn for him for 500 years bffr), but also in the first Liyue Archon quest Zhongli talks about "a friend from Mondstadt" who used to bring him wine all the time, and Venti has a "refined gentleman friend from Liyue" he wishes he could spend more time with. a friend he still visits often, so much so that madame Ping commissioned Tubby to make a Mondstadt-inspired house for the teapot with good acoustics so he could play inside with no problem.
