Got another page of Izuna's story done tonight so it's officially about halfway finished. If I get a day where I'm not working on a million things at once I could probably complete it lol
#textpost#Izuna is telling a story and he's got an accent and it's so hard lmao#I don't feel like I'm writing in English how he's talking in Japanese#But I don't want to write in an accent and do it poorly and ruin the quality of the translation#I've seen some scanlators do that for Sol before because he talks so crudely but the end result in English is... Not good imo#I think what might work better than pretending I know any accent intimately enough to write in it#Is to go back afterward and add in casual filler words#Stuff like 'like' 'you know' 'so then' '#'comma right comma' etc etc#That feels like it could get the point across that Izuna doesn't talk as directly as most other characters do#We'll see.
