So for some super unknown reason to me, August is the month I’m at my lowest. I have a hard time wanting to be me. I’m always wondering if it’s the anniversary of my big ego death after college or the heat or something else what August me gets really down. Whatever the reason, this year I’m trying extra hard to give myself little treats and instances of joy. This morning I was really irritated and just didn’t want to exist/ be me. It took me well over an hour to think of something to wear that would be comfy and feel cute. All my changing and last minute clothing decisions paid off. I had three people complement my outfit on my way to work, and so maybe there is a reason to keep living even if it’s serving looks for strangers.
