...Huh. This second OrangeHook fic (yes, I've still got hardcore brainrot for this pairing, so I have to get at least one more of these fic ideas out of my head) is going in a completely different direction than I thought it would??

They were supposed to just playfully argue back and forth about their polar opposite taste in movies! But now they're having a serious conversation about a problem in their relationship?!

What the fuck is happening, I didn't want this?!

#What is wrong with you Sam you should not be allowed to write #Seriously I don't know how or why this is happening??#After the first one turned out the way it did I wanted this one to be shorter lighter and to the point #But when I started writing it it's become...not that? So much?#I truly did not mean for this to happen but I guess I'm gonna roll with it??#And of course the issue at hand is - at least in part - related to the age gap #Will I ever write an OrangeHook fic that *isn't* about their age difference?#Probably not.#Also remember how I was worried there was too much dialogue in the last one?#Well this one's pretty much all dialogue so I guess I'm over that now LOL #Also for some reason I'm writing Hook as the more mature one here??#Even though that's absolutely not how it should be?#I have no idea what I'm doing here I'm writing on pure instinct right now it's weird #But I'm gonna keep going #I'll look back on it after it's done and then I'll decide if there's anything salvageable there or if it needs to be scrapped completely
