I’ve noticed the lack of OCs in the Time Squad community, so I decided to change that. Everyone, I would like you to meet Officer Janet Jacklin, her robot partner XJ8, and her daughter, Emily. 

Much like Shelia and XJ5, they are going to be recurring characters (mostly only showing up when Tuddrussel and Larry’s team need help). Janet and Shelia were in the same history class as Tuddrussel and were top students (and best friends). She would later become very close friends with Larry 3000 when he was first assigned to the Time Squad corporation. Life was good... She was dating chief commissioner JT Lazer, she was regularly hanging out with Larry, and she was training to become a lieutenant just like her other best friend, Shelia. But... that all changed when she fell pregnant with Emily. JT never wanted kids, so he promptly dumped her for another woman. Several months later, Emily was born... and she developed postpartum depression that interfered with her job. Not helping is that maternity leaves aren’t allowed in Time Squad, so she would have to lug a baby around on her missions. Luckily for her, Larry had experience in babysitting, so she could trust him to watch over her while she did her missions. XJ8 was too busy with missions as well... plus she wasn’t good with kids due to her impatience and short temper (she’s similar to Karen from Spongebob SquarePants). Shortly after Emily was born, Larry and Tuddrussel rescued and adopted baby Otto Osworth from freezing to death in early 1990s Chicago. At first, Larry and Tuddrussel were hesitant to share information about their adopted son since they were scared of getting fired... but Janet came to visit one day and the secret was automatically revealed. However, she wasn’t upset... she was proud of Larry and Tuddrussel for saving the life of an abandoned baby boy, even if he was from the past. Otto was introduced to Emily, and they would become playmates from then on. To be fair, Otto does need to be around kids his own age to develop his social skills. As the lone child of a early 2000s Cartoon Network show, wouldn’t it be nice if he could relate to other kids his age?
