its honestly not fleshed out a tonnnnn bc when we talk abt it we just go "OMG IT WOULD BE SO COOL WE WOULD KILL SO MUCH STUFF YEAAA" back & forth BUT [more under the cut]

like i said. amateur "journalism" geocities page of some kind, MOST of it is nothing impressive, mostly poorly written articles about local drama & grocery store scandals, but they do snoop around raccoon city/the outskirts a lot, enough that eventually they stumble onto Something that lets on that umbrella = fucking EVILL. like seeing a fucked up business transaction while theyre out in the quarry, or stumbling onto remnants of evidence from the mansion explosion. enough so that they know SOMETHING is up, but go unnnoticed by umbrella. bc they would be dead SOOO quick. they post the video/photo evidence they get online, but it gets little to no attention

anyways they take that info, connect it w the STARS mission at the mansion, and are like. oh theyre in on it & evil (true abt most of the rpd, but wrong abt STARS lol) - so they contact jill or chris or something, (who are already trying 2 get more info on umbrella at this point), and are like "HEY fuck heads we know all about your [new piece of info that stars did NOT know about]" and chris is like. how do you know about that. we dont even know about that. and our guys go "WAIT YOU DONT? also we just hang out in the woods a lot idk lol" and eventually they work out a deal where they get paid 4 info or something.

during that time window (between re1 & re2) when theyre scouting out info (primarily 4 themselves w the stars thing as a secondary/income thing) they get into a few physical altercations & possibly get trapped in places, i havent thought abt it very hard but like. a not insignificant amount of killing & murder happens prior 2 the Actual outbreak hitting raccoon city at the start of re2. evan does more of the killing while my guy operates the camcorder, but both have weapons (machete & shotgun 4 evan, sledgehammer & handgun 4 me) ("me." self insert me. u know). i cant think of anything else rn but .. yea! ty 4 asking abt them ^-^ maybe sometime ill elaborate more on the 'characters' themselves instead of the events but 4 now this was kind of a lot lol
