My third "Comfi Cardi" with @joshybearhuggies pattern 😍♥️

This time I didn't have a smaller yarn for the cuffs and trim so I used the same size 3 and made it work 😆

The yarn is Loops & Threads Delicate DK. I found it moderately splitty, but very soft while new. Suspect it would pill up immediately with human wear, but doll wardrobes are so much easier.

This doll is the adorable (and not nearly popular enough) Dikadoll Dobbie head, on a Zaoll body. I need to paint her but my brain is terrified of losing that delicate charm she has while blank. Scared of messing it up y'know.

Zaoll sister - Elysia

Ever since Dollmore released a mini version of their Lusion as Illua doll, I had hoped they would do the same for Trinity.

And finally 52cm Elysia is here! 😍 She is on the zaoll body rather than a shrunk-down version of the trinity body.

I can’t remember if I ever posted my Zaoll Muse on this blog before, but this wig switch-up really saved the doll for me. Since I got her she had black hair and I named her Murphy back then and over time I just got really bored with the doll and didn’t know what to do with her (and wasn’t willing to sell her because I’ve always loved the Zaoll sculpts for ages).

Then one day I plopped my Angel Philia’s wig on my Muse and her character revived itself and she became Amelia. Her character has found a home within the Arcane and Mononoke series since then.

Been having fun with these ye luoli Xinyi, dammit, bodies lately.

On the left, Be Kind play line doll head. Right - Dollmore Zaoll Ramie head. Mods were required (took a nipper to the plastic neck peg, overdid it, had to add silicone washers to get the head to stay. Because of course I overdid it).

I was pleasantly surprised how well the pink plastic body matches Dollmore's new normal resin, which is mostly pink with a dash of peach.

The ye luoli [no] Xinyi body is the same height as a Zaoll, and about the same dimensions, so I'm not sure why the head looks so big, but I'll work on it. Maybe a fuller wig?

Just now fully realized every single one of this Zaoll's toes have been modded separate, and very nicely done.

Meet Sadako 🥹 I just finished painting her face.

Sadako is a Parabox Otohime! She stands at 80cm, which makes her my largest doll.

I have been saving and waiting to get her for a while. Today she came in and she is MASSIVE. But also very light! She's a vinyl doll, so she's not quite a BJD.

But also, she's one of the cheaper dolls I own. My most expensive being a Dollmore Zaoll Muse.

And yes, I purposefully picked the name Sadako. If I get another one like her, I'm naming her Kayako.

I love D0llmore. Their dolls look so classy and antique-like. They're beautiful, cute and somehow gothic at the same time. Kind of Victorian. They also seem to be great quality - I've never seen anyone complain about it. And the prices are good, too. So it puzzles me, why there's not much D0llmore's dolls around BJD community nowadays. Though, it was quite a lot of model dolls and Zaolls a decade ago or so.

I'll get of their dolls once I decide which one (cause they're all adorable). Trinity is a dream, but I'm not a billionaire.
