5. How do they sleep? 

Teldryn is a light sleeper who moves around a lot, Darra is not, and either flops her legs on top of his so he doesn’t move so much or retreats to her side. Fortunately, their bed is quite large.

11. What good do they bring out in each other?

Darra seeks adventures (fighting dragons, exploring Blackreach, etc) that challenge Teldryn and keep his skills sharp, but she also brings out a kinder, warmer side that he buried a long time ago. For better or for worse, he also develops the ability to describe the flavor profile of different cheeses.

Teldryn is so unapologetically himself that after spending enough time with him, Darra doesn’t worry as much about what Nord/Dunmer society thinks of her, or what Skyrim thinks the Dragonborn should be doing, and she gets to focus more on what she wants to do given her situation, as well as taking care of herself. Darra is also at her best with loved ones to keep her grounded and focused on a difficult duty, and Teldryn represents all the finest mortal qualities she wants to protect.

They also provide each other a pleasant space to roast everything, everyone, and each other, to get an honest look at the world and themselves and realize that there are, in fact, good things :)

14. What reminds them of each other?

Darra: “He smells like sword polish and looks like a mudcrab with that helmet. He might actually be a mudcrab. Hard, big arms, scrappy, fights things that are three times bigger, but quite soft inside. Also that red scarf.”

Teldryn: “Colovian brandy. Cheese. Heartburn medicine. I suppose I can’t walk around Riften without remembering her there. Perhaps I can’t imagine Skyrim without remembering her there now, either.”
