would you recommend sims 4? it's on sale for 20 right now and i'm considering it. i did the demo and i liked how you could actually get to know your sims and see what they thought and felt but idk. how are the toddlers? i trust your opinion
‘i trust your opinion’ i nvr thought id see the day............put this very moment in my memoires
no but in all seriousness i would most definitely recommend ts4! its not a perfect game - which goes for all its iterations obviously, and im not sure which versions youve played and liked so far, but i love ts4 more than any of the others and in my personal opinion its great. the artstyle imo is absolutely gorgeous and the game runs way better than the others ever have. theres some amazing mechanics (eg multitasking) that i couldnt ever go without anymore and while it has less content now because eps are still coming out whereas the life cycles of ts1/2/3 are finished now, but theyre doing things way better than the predecessors have, eg toddlers and vampires, our two newest playthings. toddlers were a long wait, but theyre rly better than ever and have their own personalities and a lot of depth! (my fussy toddler keeps throwing fits when shes not getting attention and whenever her parents check on her she gets happy because shes got em wrapped around her lil finger its the best) not everyone likes the emotion system but i personally love it - moodlets are fine, but i like that when my sim is hotheaded and gets annoyed, he actually gets mad and autonomously performs mean interactions of goes boxing to cool off. ive been playing the same one family since launch, for like 15 generations, and i absolutely love it. cas in general is rly great and its easier to make diverse sims than ever since we can basically mold our sims like clay to our own will, although i get that ppl miss create a style or at least a colour wheel, but i dont miss it too much, and i use custom content anyways if i want more colour options. obviously the game has negatives eg the loss of open world - or at least open neighbourhoods (although i dont rly miss it that much, it also made ts3 unplayable for like 50% of ppl lmao it wasnt realistic although i believe theres a middle road somewhere) and a lot of ppl dont find the game to have enough depth but imo all depth the games had is empty in a way? thats not solely a ts4 problem and it rly depends on ur playstyle - im rly connected to my sims and give them huge backstories, ive even started using poses for it, so obviously im playing w things the game cant do, but it depends per person! the expantion/game packs do rly add a lot and i havent played basegame in forever though, so idk if its as rich an experience without the newer additions (although toddlers are basegame obviously) but its definitely worth 20 bucks for sure. if u want to know smth specific feel free to lmk / contact me either on anon or privately if u want me to explain smth in detail or be clearer! also, if u want to see some other ppl play to see some more of the game maybe look up some simblrs to see the creativity the game allows!!
