i have a proposed revision for the pc port
#this is so shoddily edited because i was scrapping it together for a joke while half-asleep. put those guys in the elysium#but that said... i do genuinely think this could've had#the best chance at recreating the effect they were seeking from the ds; to keep monologue on-screen + allude to future twists thru color#for which i must add#999 spoilers#anyway. ace has the outline/examination cursor color junpei is using bc he had originally created the 'game'#the grey monologue would probably be a bit muted but still lean toward a purple/blue for akane#which would realistically be more apt for longer descriptions; with junpei's personal thoughts maybe having a slight indent#or even being associated w his name as is; like the options implicitly are in color (darker red)#it's not a traditional visual novel format of course; but it'd still work well...! to me...!!!#alas. i haven't practiced modding of this scale. maybe one day...#jestersvaguely#ze posting
