"ey there's my guy!" With a loud hoot, he points his ladle at Caradoc from the other side of the counter. The two pots of soup simmer on the stove behind him- one is someone's order of broccoli and cheddar soup- Ray has to wonder what the appeal exactly is supposed to be. Maybe Doc might know. Still, Ray winks at his comrade in arms- he knew Doc would have his back! In these trying times, it's always encouraging to have one friendly face around...even if it ends with a stomachache the next day. Ah, well, you live and learn-

( Although an outsider looking in might argue this is not a case of living and learning. If the cycle of Doc ( and Lamon for that matter ) suffering from stomach pains the next morning and still coming back for more indicates anything. One might wonder if a person perhaps needs a streak of masochism and an iron stomach to survive Ray's experimentation day in, day out. )

With the broccoli and cheddar ready to be served, Ray spoons out a serving before grabbing a second bowl for his other pot of soup...squid boiled in a dashi stock made out of peanut butter. He sets that bowl in front of Doc...if he said it was delicious that must mean he wants a SECOND SERVING! "Told you squid and peanut butter make a good combination! Think Lam and Lex would want some now too?" After now, he has one glowing review- that's already a testament to the deliciousness ( please note, not the safety ) of his dish!
