The Cardcaptor Sakura Clear Card arc (anime, not manga) also ends on a cliffhanger? Are you kidding me?!
At least it's been confirmed that it will get another season to finish the story, at least, but gah!
#anyway i really enjoyed clear card arc#there were times where i thought it was maybe a little slow. and i got a tad bit annoyed by syaoran and eriol not telling sakura things#but seeing as how i've seen other series handle that kind of plot point way WAY worse i'm mostly fine with it. especially how syaoran was#handled#there was even a side of me that at first thought that maybe things were a little bit too sames-y.#but then i realized that was me just being an idiot in not realizing it was sakura CREATING the cards for a change. which was a nice spin#all-in-all. a very nice ccs sequel. which gives you everything you'd want in ccs. that keeps it ccs. with some nice little spins#and i love some of the callbacks!#like whenever we get to see meiling again. it gives me all the feels for some reason#and i love akiho. major points to CLAMP for writing a villain--really i don't think she's a villain at all. but rather a victim being used-#who is truly good friends with our main cast who is so likable!#i feel like other writers try that type of thing but usually fail or never succeed like this
