he looks uncomfortable, shifting from foot to foot, like he doesn't want to be there and he probably doesn't. honestly, if you ask Oliver, there's a million different places he'd rather be than right here. he's not good with the police, let alone detectives, especially ones that specialize in murder. it's not because of his own crimes (if one can call them that), but because of what they had failed to do upon the death of his mother and aunt---they put the wrong guy away, letting the real killer walk free for a very long time... until his end, be it by Oliver's hands. it was bound to happen, either way. he clears his throat, shoving his hands in his pockets, just so he has something to do with them. god, he's so awkward. he really doesn't want to be here. "i---well, i had a question---uhm, p-pertaining an old case. maybe... maybe you could a-answer my q-question?"
