Ma Crocodile

This is Vector's mom, Victrola the Crocodile (but she insists everyone calls her Ma). She's the most Grandma-y old southern lady you will ever meet, an absolute sweetheart that can still put you in your place if need be. She raised Vector as a single mom, and absolutely adores her grandbabies (Espio and Charmy, and later Cream)

Loves music

Carries her purse with her at all times (it has candy in it for her grandbabies)

Is very Pentecostal and will start praying over you in tongues if given half a chance

Makes Christmas gifts for the Chaotix every (including Knuckles, Mighty, and Ray)

Is the only person who has ever made Shadow the Hedgehog apologize (he almost sideswiped her on his motorcycle and she took her purse to him while lecturing him on manners. Once he said sorry, she gave him a piece of candy)

Doing Isabella's character page made me want to update Shaylyn's because her's was done when I was still getting used to drawing sonic characters and it seemed...boring I guess, IDK, I gave Bella a soccer ball to show one of her interests and liked that so I gave Shaylyn a sketchbook/notebook because she's very creative and likes drawing and writing

They're really commonly sold in this Sonic universe, including at her family's store. She usually stores her sketchbooks, drawing stuff, snacks, and a basic first aid kit)

Powers: She specializes in elemental magic, specifically plant and water magic

Drawbacks: Like all other magic users in this universe, she HAS to use her wand while casting spells as magic is really unstable so even casting a really simple water spell without your wand could lead to a tsunami because it's hard to direct that magic energy to the right place and use the right amount so wands are specially designed for magic users so they can easily use magic without leading to catastrophe

Personality: Shaylyn is a girl who typically gets off on the wrong foot with people and it's usually because she finds it to be difficult to know how to act around certain people so she either comes across as too cold when she's trying to be calm or too childish and hyper when she's trying to be nice or, when she's not trying to force herself to be someone else, she's extremely blunt and honest, not realizing saying something she thought was constructive criticism could be taken as an insult until someone explains it to her later, which usually leads to her feeling immensely guilty and anxious that the person won't want to talk to her again. Because of all this, she always found making friends difficult, and keeping them was even harder, to the point she pretty much just gave up when she was around 12, deciding people could come to her, but she was tired of feeling like she made everything awkward when she tried to approach people herself. Despite all this, she can be a pretty open book, especially when you get her talking about her passions, which she could go on for hours about but sometimes that leads to her not realizing what information should be private, unless it's someone else's secret, she's typically pretty good at keeping that under wraps but she has let things slip once in a blue moon.

While she can be pretty quiet, she is not usually afraid to let people know what she's thinking or feeling, having no problems with letting people know if she hates them or not. This can change sometimes, as in the two friend groups she's been in, she will let them know her feelings on a matter but they usually ignore her and because she's been afraid of being alone again, she has let them walk over her. Both moments will be touched in a later arc, but only one of these moments will be specifically focused on. Unfortunately, she also has a really bad temper and is not afraid to physically fight someone if they start something with her, which can lead to trouble 

While, she does look down on herself quite a bit, Shaylyn can be a very prideful girl, especially with her art, to the point that criticism (not constructive, just straight up someone telling her she's awful at art), even on drawings or any art piece she doesn't like herself can send her furthur down a spiral of self-doubt
