hey everyone Craig Adams here from wedding film school and welcome to episode 0 17 of the live Q&A series where I'm just gonna hang and talk and and check out the boards and and we've got this little chat on the right so if you have any comments or questions now's your time to chat with me and other people in the wedding film school community and if you don't get your question in on the chat make sure to tweet at me and just tagged any question or anything you want to say with hashtag wed film school and we'll make it happen some good discussion already I would love to talk about editing and hard drives and stuff like that but technically anything goes let's just chat let me know I would love to just you know get to talk to you guys and see what you have to think on these topics and you know let's just hang we've got Larry slain as the moderator and yes we do first I have to talk about the new digs that we have I'm going to break the fourth wall and just show you real quick pet no ceiling fuck ceilings no ceiling got a nice little new shelf I had to assemble that with IKEA well hopefully this isn't messing up but yeah I'm just in a six-by-six office I've got one single light and I you can see my other shelf I have to set up but yeah pretty excited it's an awesome also little uh little digs that I has here let's set that back i'm just so we had it cool so this is where i'm working out of now and I'm really excited i'm in brooklyn in a co workspace and yeah what's up from North Carolina hello from Los Angeles so this is also one of my first times testing out the 8 p.m. eastern time zone so if this works hopefully it does but if not let me know you know I'm still trying to decide when I want to be doing stuff so first off I'm just going to tell you a little bit about you know my editing situation so people are asking why I edit with Final Cut X you know what I do how do i edit so quickly what is compression so I'm just going to kind of talk a little bit about that so I started you know I everyone starts off on different things but final coat was like the first serious sweet that I use to edit on and i bought a final cut express with my first mac book pro back when i was a senior in high school and that's what i really learned to edit on going to college everyone was on final cut studio and then it moved to seven at that point and that was it you know like if you were editing videos it was on 7 that was the shia and then recent well not too recently it's been out for a little bit you know x came out and I was kind of excited i think i was a junior in college and as anyone who's watched the video that i just did about my Final Cut X wish list for updates it wasn't perfect it was far from it actually and I...
