Do you want something grand and expensive? Or something cheap and delightful? Now is your chance to help me pay some groceries!
More art examples on my blogs skrimcats or artharakka (also linked to skrimcats) although most up to date pictures have been pretty much collected here.
And more info under the cut!
HOW TO COMMISSION ME:
1. Contact me via email: artharakka(at)gmail.com and tell me:
What kind of artwork are you commissioning me (sketch, line art, painting, bust, waist up, is there a background etc.)
How many characters or outfit/character designs do you want.
Details of your commission: character description, other information you think is important, and reference images (if you have. If don’t, I can draw from a description but remember to include all the details you want to be visible in the art). The less info I have the more I will improvise. I’m ok with that but remember that I cannot read your mind!
What setting, atmosphere, colour scheme, or poses do you want. Again, you do not have to know everything if you don’t know or just want to see what I come up with.
ADDITIONAL NOTE: While most of the commission posts I have seen have been primarily character commissions, I’m that odd person who actually likes to draw landscapes so backgrounds are fine but more than that, your commission does not need to include characters at all! So, if you would like just a moody picture of your character in the distance or just a painting of a location for your worldbuilding or dnd project, I got you!
2. When we have agreed on the details, I will send you an invoice via PayPal.
Remember to tell me your PayPal email address so that I can send you an invoice once we have agreed on the commission and price! (I do not accept payment through any other way than through the invoice you receive from me!)
the commission prices are and will be in euros.
I will not start the commission before I have the full payment
Paintings and complex or painted comics are an exception to this. For these I will do you a sketch for 30€ and only then determine the price of the finished work which you will pay before I continue my work. NOTE: The sketch is part of the final price, so if you commission a 60€ painting from me, after the sketch has been paid, I will require only additional 30€ (not 60€ that would make the painting’s overall price 90€)
3. When I have finished the commission, I will send it to you via email as a high-res PNG file.
You can request other file forms as well.
I reserve around a month to finish the art after the commission has been paid. As a general rule, the more expensive the art, the more time it takes, so I might be faster or I might be slower. However, if I think finishing a commission will take me more than a month, I will let you know beforehand or as soon as possible.
NOTES:
You can ask me more information and contact me beforehand even if you don’t yet know exactly what kind of commission you want. We can also try to figure out together what kind of artwork you want and what I’m able to do.
I reserve the right to decline a commission (for personal reasons or if I think what you ask is outside of my expertise for some reason)
The prices mentioned in this post are base prices. Most likely, I will not change them, but a very, very detailed or complex commissions might be more expensive.
You can ask to see WIPs if you want to. If the commission is bigger, I will probably show you the sketch at least so you see where the work is going.
Unless you specifically ask me not to, I might post the commission on my blogs or use it on my portfolio.
