 tip of the tongue gently rips her mint gum from roof of her mouth , and lets her white teeth chew slowly as she thinks of an excuse . not because she doesn't like him or anything , the thing is that his past with that girl was something akina never enjoyed remembering whenever she saw him . anita loved him though , apparently he was good at what he did . akina had asked her little sister several times to not get too friendly with her teacher and the answers she got from the kid got creative each time . it was instinct , just like the fact that she realized she was staring at him and not talking . it gets lonely sometimes , it always gets lonely after anita sleeps . even with anita when she was so determined to hate akina .

 a hand reaches up to fix the plastic bags hanging from her shoulder as she looks away at the street . the mint gum was starting to taste dull . old friends are never forgotten it seems .  ❛ sure . ❜ she wants to ask , she really wants to ask it he still sees HER . but she stays silent about it and gives him a grin instead , brushing back of her hand by his arm to lead the way . ❛ anita will be excited . ❜ just a few blocks away , a few minutes by foot . her steps were lazy , clothes far from the expensive things she used to wear for school . each day a new outfit , used to say her shoes could buy their school ; but it was just something to brag about . akina thinks lamon was screaming for help just as she was , back in those years , when akina saw what was happening to him but never talked to him about it .  ❛ didn't go to school today ? anita was absent . she wanted to go see dad's grave . ❜
