#star trek#trek#TNG#the next generation#My money's on Insurrection: at least you can remember the plot of Nemesis.#and I've heard strong valid critiques of First Contact#I like its quality as a movie I don't think I like its legacy and effect on the franchise#just like I love Kriege's performance as the Borg queen but hate her character conceptually as it ruins the Borg#the entire horror of the Borg is its mindless conformity and vast conciousness that cannot be argued with because it lacks single identity#how does Starfleet-the Diplomacy people-reason with a entity beyond diplomacy?#except it doesn't actual here's a lady who rules the Borg and has an extreme personality and dientifable personhood traits#so nevermind#Picard Season 2 even brings this to its logical conclusion as they just diplomat-victory the Borg#and its stupid#like everything in that season mind
