i'm so sick of the human rights aren't political crowd if you think a country's government, its army, killing people and politicians all over the world encouraging it isn't political you're an actual idiot. stupid. unintelligent

#literally don't know how human rights could not be political #something being considered a right is inherently political and also how are rights enforced #let's think #i genuinely can't think of anything more political than human rights and i've been trying #and framing what's happening in palestine as a humanitarian issue doesn't even make sense it's not like it's a natural disaster you can't #even/can barely donate because israel is barely letting any aid in? they're asking people to pressure their governments?#and humanitarian issues following like natural disasters are also political...#the way i feel about people saying that something thats very clearly political isnt political cant be put into words like i hate it so much #but saying what israel and western countries have put palestinians through isn't political is one of the most insane use of that rhetoric #the consequences of a war are not political is a deranged take. what constitutes a genocide is political #and like i say: brf slt
