As a rule of thumb, I really don’t see any point to a game where you can’t win with your favorites. This is why I don’t play competitive fucking anything because I don’t want to get slapped with the fucking bitch tier rank just for not making the same choices everyone else does.
#ignore morg#Maybe it is a false binary but I have been in serious ideological fights over the lack of an acceptable third option#between just playing the unranked mode of various games and not being ''very good''#and getting funnelled into one of only four viable strategies that the fucking ''high tiers'' use#especially since some games make it impossible to wipe your history for the purposes of matchmaking#so once you get the bitch ribbon it's impossible to ditch it even if you do improve#which of course means there is no decent metric to measure improvement by.#you want me to play anything online then show me the mode where it doesn't save anything to your history#no match data no win/loss rate NOTHING#good luck finding THAT these days
