just thinking about how disturbing it is that some fans literally just lose all ability to discern appropriate human behaviour when interacting with their fave celebrities. if you wouldn’t walk up to someone you find hot at school and immediately talk about how you want to fuck them, you probably shouldn’t bring sexually explicit signs to a show that the celebrity can clearly see. if you wouldn’t sleep outside your crush’s house in hopes that you’ll catch a glimpse, you probably shouldn’t be sleeping outside a celebrity’s hotel. there is always going to be some unusual interactions between celebrities and fans, but there is a point where people consider it a free pass to do whatever the fuck they want and completely put their morals aside in order to get any speck of attention, positive or negative, from their fave. there is a very clear difference between joking around with your friends online in a small corner of the internet where a celebrity is likely never going to see your commentary, and directly interacting with them or getting in their private spaces and treating them in ways you would never treat any other human being. getting a bit of celebrity attention shouldn’t matter this much, especially when it involves putting aside your humanity.
