Ok so Norman now has a confirmed ✨️god connection✨️ and I can't say i'm suprised. But the implications of that are still interesting regardless.

So I talked to Mira, and as far as I understood it can mean the following things.

He either:

Was cursed by a god

Has a contract with a god

Is possessed by a god

Or should straight up IS the god

Ok so there's nothing specific pointing to the curse alone (expect maybe the paint splashes but that may also just be a contract thing) so I really don't know what to do with that possibility.

However I do think him having a contract is extremely likely, given that he knows things he shouldn't, and outright told us that he couldn't disclose certain information. Oh the good old NDAs. Feels like home. From expiernce, I can tell you that no one in their right mind would just go and break a demon contract. I guess not even traumatized autistics, who spent 300 years in madness realm are THAT mad. Feel ya Norman. Anyway if it's contract related, it may explain why he tries to hide so much from us even though, let's be honest, he's really not good at hiding it may not do it under other circumstances.

And now going to my oh so beloved possession theory (beloved ❤️) I would say that if he IS possessed, he would also probably have a contract. It's definitely not unheard of to have formalities regarding possession listed in contracts. Similarly to how Asklepios had a contract with Nyx and already knew that he was gonna get possessed if anything happens to the asylum building. I still do believe that the goose bumps would speak for a godly presence of sort, giving that the only other time I got them was while praying. To be fair, I did not reach the god that day..

Now, him just being the god himself doesn't make too sense, considering that we now know that he's "not created by madness". So that can't mean that he's just the god, who made himself a body...right? Kinda feels off currently. Also because Viper seemed to have actually put alot of thought into Normans past (his life before he went to the realm) and yeah, a god could just lie to us and make up a Story but... eh... eh. I don't know.

Anyway these are my main thoughts about Norman currently 🥲
