still thinking abt the way starscream practically snarls the word “chassis” the way it scrapes against the back of his throat like that....... every time he speaks and pitches his voice a certain way i feel like an undone ribbon getting completely torn to shreds

#'keri that makes no sense' have you met me #do u know what voices do to me. nothing ever affects me like a voice does #i appreciate and love all kinds of voices #but god damn does starscream's very specific low rumble of a rasp have me in a death grip #no other character has ever ever EVER caught my attention in the same way #like. idk how to explain it. it isnt just 'deep and raspy' its... so much more #its like he's swallowed grit and everything he says is like razors against pavement #but not overly done and its never obnoxiously so. like not excessive or annoying at all #most characters w/ dark throaty rasp will like. just kind of. have rasp #but starscream has!!! i dont know how to explain it!! he has!!! control!! power!!!!#it's almost like a low thunderous calm when it's lowered and quieted #and sharp...#his plosives... even... are so damn soft... despite the harshness of everything else #like!! beetlejuice!! his rasp is so nice too. but its like a fork in a garbage disposal kind of way #and megatron has rasp too but it's more like the rumble of a warship's engine that scrapes #and it's like pieces of glass laced with every word. it's like. uncareful scattered rasp #or like. here's someone i havent brought up in a hot minute: bway!plankton??#wes' rasp?? especially when he hitches *up*? ooh. ooh that's special too #but then you have starscream who somehow has all of these and none of these at once #most characters are uneven with it but stsc is always so smooth despite the gravel in his throat #it's like. so fucking carefully delivered and im rly not good w/ trying to describe it #but christ. ok!! voices!! i love voices and starscream's hits it out of the park every time #love notes #woof #💕 Two falling stars ✨
