i have thought a little bit about a possible pirate au, but i don’t know enough about the ocean or nautical stuff and i haven’t had time to research it so i don’t want to be inaccurate :// the basic premise of it though was grian is the captain of a ship but he becomes a spy in scar’s crew to take it over but they fall in love instead

tcliop obvi because it’s my pride and joy and i spent a lot of time on it <3 but also poppies and lilacs pressed into these pages because it was the first thing i ever wrote the hermitcraft/life series fandom and it was immediately so well received by the community <3<3

the airport au: ok i’ve thought about the airport au a little bit, but mainly it’s been about the actual like semantics of it, like how to create the seamless transition of perspectives. so i’ve been thinking about focal points in the plot—objects and places—that scar and grian both interact with in quick succession so that the story could focus on it for a moment while the characters switch. for the most part it’s been pearls cafe tbh. alien/human au: i’ve again been thinking about the more technical side of the au’s, because like miscommunication and language barriers are very difficult to portray a lot of the times, so i’ve been thinking of how i want to go about it. currently, i’ve been thinking about it being a chaptered fic, where it switches between the characters pov’s of the characters. and i definitely want to showcase the frustrating aspects of saying so much and not being heard/understood on both sides. astronaut au: i have just been thinking about their late night transmissions, where someone will find grian asleep at the desk, because he didn’t want to stop talking to scar. and not having anything to talk about because they have these calls so often so they just start saying random stuff or having contests of who can make the other laugh more and they are just so in love but they can’t be together <3<3 and it’s yearning for something you already have <3<3

oooh… i don’t know… because like the plots and universes they’re in kind of alter how i write the characters because it’s affected by the environment and the experiences of the characters…. so sometimes like scar and grian are softer and sometimes they bicker more…. and i love both equally different reasons… i try to stay as similar as i can through out my fics but if i had to choose i think i’d choose their dynamic in the actor au because they just are <3<3 i love rivals to lovers
