Look I think if Tumblr unbans p/orn we should keep it a secret from the rest of the internet because if we have a mass arrival of new users who spent the last 3-4 years on Twitter and Tiktok I don't know if the girlblogger ecosystem could survive

#musings #look seeing unhinged twitter/tiktok discourse is funny as long as i don't expect to see people like that on here #despite staff's increasingly apparent transphobia and incompetence we have a pretty decent atmosphere in here now #an influx of new users who bring discourse and outrageous opinions on society and media with them would probably ruin that #and regardless i think if tumblr's userbase expanded after unbanning p/orn it wouldn't last very long #i imagine at some point they'd ban it again once they got a big enough userbase back so they could get more advertisers #which is more the fault of whoever owns tumblr these days than any new users of course
