having.. temeren thoughts..
#this happens like clockwork every time we take a game break and then get back into it#we haven't gotten back into it yet but we *were* talking about it which is almost the same thing#writing one of my notes-app mini-essays about temeren and their arc up to this point haha#that like. you know. i could post this or i could hang onto it for my own reference to bring up in-game#not to get too far into it but like.#it's been said that temeren was raised a martyr. and that's more or less true!#like. i think the idea of reaching old age is simply not something they've thought about#and because they fundamentally expect to die in eran's service i suspect that a good chunk of the tension between them#arises a bit from them wanting eran to be someone worth dying for#and he isn't! he simply isn't (not for them at least)#and so they've pursued the ideal of duty as though perfecting its concept and their role will somehow make the whole thing work#but post- their own near-death and with everything else going on the whole thing becomes very much in question#but no. yeah.#very much thinking about future conversations and where we go from here#love the idea of ditching a civil war arc where we support galair. i do not want to support galair. i want to kill him.#i want to go rogue and upend society and I Want To Kill Galair#the duality of it! the imagery! althair's prince vs. doralnum's knight!#i could do such cool art about this.#that said i can only assume that barring some unforeseen circumstances#killing galair will extremely compromise temeren's friendship with fenella#so there's much to think about
