anons plz you cannot tell me things about the novel. you cannot. I will believe you until someone refutes, it and then I will believe them, and so on and so forth. unless your claim falls within the events of the two volumes I read this summer, in which case I will internally go "nah, that's not right" but then be seized with doubt because maybe it came up in a later volume? who am I to say? and I will say nothing no matter how right I am pretty sure I am.

#but for real though this is why if I am asking an actual question I always ask WHEN a thing happens if not the quote itself #so that way I can go look it up on my own to verify or if I need it for something #likewise when I am stating things that happened in the show I will give scenes or episode numbers when I can for that same reason #because people really DO be out here saying stuff #and sometimes they're doing so out of malice or willful obtuseness #but more often we (much like da-ge's severed head) just remember things inaccurately based on what resonated with us #or inadvertently conflate canons/adaptations/really good fics
