amber's mother is now an existing mutant!

meet phillippa sontag (formerly talbot) aka arclight! she's a mutant with the ability to create shockwaves!

formerly a member of a mercenary corps (probably the femizons like in canon?), she somehow befriended - and later fell in love - with amber's father rob talbot.

the pair married, but eventually split - not for bad reasons, but mostly because they realized that they didn't love each other anymore, and they were worried about hurting amber (as she was pretty much born to try to salvage the marriage, and that didn't work).

while phillippa and amber grew distant following the divorce (amber's always been a daddy's girl after all), she does try and keep contact with her mother. however, due to her mother being busy with her work - as a teacher for the school for mutants - they don't really talk much
