The Babylonians are aliens but not because they came from another planet but because they came from the Sol dimension

I mean we don't know anything about the world they came from because we're never told anything about it, and there's literally a level in Rush Adventure called SKY BABYLON and it's a bunch of FLOATING ISLANDS and Babylon Garden was also a FLOATING STRUCTURE BUILT BY THE BABYLONIANS like there's no fucking way that's a coincidence

OH AND ALSO they were known to be thieves. And what are the main villains in Rush Adventure? PIRATES

THEY'RE PIRATES but like SKY PIRATES FROM THE SOL DIMENSION like just listen it all makes sense it all just fits

#ramblings #i just randomly thought about this before i went to take a shower #also. i swear i saw something somewhere about the babylonians losing their flight #because they angered the gods or something?#but i didn't find anything on that specifically #just that the gods struck down babylon garden forcing them to live on land instead of the sky #idk it may have been an archie thing that wasn't actually in the games #or maybe i'm not looking hard enough #either way that thought lead to me developing a headcanon based on some hypothetical redesigns in my style #since i gave rouge wings on her arms i thought it'd be neat if the rouges had them too #but they can't use them to fly because the gods basically magically clipped their ancestors wings #and their descendants still can't fly because the feathers required for flight never grow right #and that there are mobian birds out there who do have the ability to fly because they don't descend from the babylonians #i'm keeping that headcanon in the tags here tho bc i can't find the thing i thought was canon that it's based on lol #i still really like the idea tho
