rewatching qcyn/chuang stages and getting so heated rehearing the SINGERS who didn't make it far bc they weren't popular
#and then mfs have the audacity to bitch about how there aren't any Singers in the final line up like yeah that's your fault!#y'all will hear vocal talent and be like hm no i will vote for someone who can't hold a note but is mildly good at dancing and/or is hot#IMO the worst offenders are people who vote for trainees who are - in 100% honesty - not very good at anything but get a...#i don't want to call it a pity arc but it kind of is that where they get shown working super hard and being upset about how they#aren't as good as their peers (bc they objectively#AREN'T bc their peers are like actual Singers and Dancers and they are not) and then people vote for them bc they worked hard???#like i'm not knocking hard work but like. maybe it'll pay off later but as of the moment that person is on the show it's not worth it 😭#i'm sure that sounds mean idc in my opinion at least half of the trainees that make final groups don't actually have the skills required#and once again the lack of SINGERS... a-fucking-bysmal 😭 esp when there actually ARE insanely good singers on the show#like yes sometimes the options are limited (sorry to idol producer) but over the years they had sooo much more talent to pull from#and it was WASTED. SQUANDERED
