I wish I could turn my brain off and just do shit like a normal person
#sooooo no i never did apply for any jobs when i was talking about it last fall b/c then things in my life turned to shit again#and i got very overwhelmed w/ depression & stress. but anyway knock on wood everything finally seems to have actually calmed down#and i'm beginning to feel like an actual functional person again for the first time since maybe january 2020?#so anyway i finally finished my resume & there is a job very close by that i want to apply to but my brain is like NO! SCARY! CAN'T DO IT!#and i am fighting it so hard trying to get to the 'fuck it just do it' stage. so yeah i wish i could just shut my brain off & do shit#and yeah i mean i really fucking need to do this b/c my car lease expires in 1 month & i can't extend it any further lol#i didn't used to be like this. i used to never give a shit about applying to jobs. then the last 5 years of my life happened :(#and i'm really trying to remember the whole there are people out there doing the thing i want to do & doing it really badly#and they're probably even using fucking chatgpt to do it lol#p
