also a niche thing that's on my mind but why does a game where you play as a detective whose agency regularly works together with the police feel less like copaganda than the sonic movies. like why does a funny digimon game where you Play As A Detective criticize the police more than a movie about a furry who says acab

#soda offers you a can #i read a post abt the copaganda in the movies in the morning and it's living in my brain now #and while i really don't have the brain cells to pick apart digimon cyber sleuth and it's portrayal of the police at this time #this game still like. regularly points out instances of the police just dropping cases and refusing to investigate shit further-#-when it's about bringing a mega corporation doing ethically dubious things to justice #like i don't think that's very ground breaking or anything. but compared to the way the Sonic The Hedgehog movies treat cops?#it's kind of wild to me idk
