not to be all like "its bad to portray bad things in HORROR" becausse...no..lol... but I can't lie the sa scene in reanimator feels so pointlessly thrown in there at the end...
#was talking about this with friends and while I know sam raimi regrets the tree scene at least the first evil dead is played more serious#it's mostly just a matter of preference but I'd rather watch a movie with a more serious sa scene then whatever reanimator had going on#yknow?#I'm not great at reviewing movies upon a first watch hence me not sharing my lame letterboxd much so I don't have a lot to say about it#but I'm still thinking about it kind of abstractly. also it's early morning and i haven't slept yet#I kind of don't have a lot of high expectations for the sequel in regards to this movie and women...#but eh maybe I'm a hypocrite since I've grown to be a big fan of the evil dead franchise#and yeah comparing this to ED since both movies have infamous sa scenes I feel they're comparable. also because i am fixated on ED#no reblogs since people love this movie and i'm not shitting on that
