[ naomi scott, she/her, cis female ] — was that ARIANA YADAV? the TWENTY-SIX year old is a GOVERNESS, how exciting to see them this season! rumors have it they are KIND and INVENTIVE, but i’ve heard they are STUBBORN and BIGMOUTHED as well — maybe that’s why they’ve been called the SPITFIRE. I have even heard that A FAILED COURTSHIP RUINED HER VIRTUE —only time will tell.

born to a poor mother & no father, but her mom died when she was fourteen so now she has nobody. her mom was a maid for a well established family in london, and ariana grew up along side that family, eventually getting a job with them as well

the family wasn’t super snobby, so they let her hang out with the kids her age, and in turn she had a rich bff who was her age who treated her like a sister, taught her to read, etc. 

she’s very inquisitive, so once she learned how to read she kept with it, spending any money she could find on used books. to this day, her possessions include more books than anything, most that were given to her by her mother. basically she’s a giant nerd.

stayed with that family well after her mom died & ended up taking over her maid positions. probably would’ve stayed there forever if she didn’t meet kiyan, a gentleman she met in town that actually ??  cared what she had to say ??  unheard of. he courted her, they got engaged, and she quit her job, thinking that she wouldn’t need it anymore.

but then he went jk <3 because his family didn’t approve of her being #poor & he eventually had to break off the engagement. left with no money, no prospects, but refusing to go back to the family she left behind, ariana was able to scrape together a job as a governess  ( thankfully the family she worked for gave her high praise ) 

so yeah, she’s a little bitter about not getting her cinderella story, but it was a year ago and by now she basically expects to die an old maid. which is whatever!

she’s a closet romantic, her failed engagement kinda took the excitement out of romance for her, but deep down she doesn’t want to die alone 🤪

probably will though, because not only does she have no dowry or prospects, but she’s got a giant mouth. granted, she’s good at knowing when to hold back her opinion, but most of the time she just lets it rip. she’s highly intelligent despite her social standing, and because of that it makes her feel like a big fish in a small pond. it’s not like she’s an asshole or even sassy, but in a world where women are meant to be seen and not heard... she lets herself be heard a lil more than she should.

when her engagement failed there were rumors about it being because he found out she's not a virgin, but it was false 🥲 

wanted connections : 

someone similar in age to her that’s either a gentry or nobility that she could’ve worked for their family, and when they were kids they were bffs & they talked ari to read and all that. now they could either still be friends or the person grown out of being friends with the help and now they pretend like they don’t know each other <3

give me a bad influence actually, because despite being very smart she’s still v much a girl in regency era who is convinced that having sex before marriage is a sin. and since she’s gonna die alone anyway......

At WWDC21, Apple announced that users will now be able to experience spatial audio and lossless quality audio free of cost on Apple Music. It is now making its way to users in India. But what does it mean? Let us break it down for you.

Spatial audio is the experience where the listener feels like the sound is moving around you and is coming from different directions. On the other hand, lossless quality audio preserves all the highs and lows of the track that makes it sound just like the original track. Apple has introduced spatial audio with support for Dolby Atmos and lossless audio quality in Apple Music on iOS, iPadOS and macOS.
