Wanted to let you know that after seeing that post about Laios from Dungeon Meshi being good autistic rep, I ended up binging the whole manga (97 chapters, very good) in 2 nights.

He is incredible autistic rep for the "bad/weird" autistic people (like myself sometimes) and I truly love seeing that (as painful as some of the scenes are because it really hurts when you just know you'll never quite fit in and even if you come to terms with it, it still hurts to be reminded)

It's also very good and funny and tragic and made me so so hungry, and I think you might like it

dungeon meshi is the fandom i've been seeing NON-STOP on my dash nowadays and everything about it looks great. I'm torn on reading the manga, hopping on the anime, or both, but it's really nice to see the "weird autistic" rep that isn't just like, the stereotypes we always see. that bit of comic that I read made me go Oof In My Soul but like? in a good way? made me feel seen

so yeah i know literally nothing about dungeon meshi except that there's food. but maybe soon i will witness the food. and the autism

BWAUGHHASDGH NO THAT'S NOHO HANK, AKA ONE OF MY FAVORITE CHARACTERS IN THE HISTORY OF ANYTHING

he started out as the comic relief side villain, then became the main antagonist, then kind of an antihero, and now he's just a fantastic gay sweetheart with too much empathy for his lovely bald head

barry is THIS exhausted madman who is technically the protagonist but in a walter white way, he's a fantastic well-written character and definitely going through his own chaos but at this point deserves ten thousand kicks in the teeth

barry's been throwing hank under the bus for a LONG time and then crawling back for help, and hank's always been willing to help him out because he genuinely thinks they're friends and that barry cares about him in an authentic way

but now he's FINALLY refusing to help barry and calling him out on his BS and i am SO DELIGHTED because hank deserves a stress-free life with his bolivian boyfriend at the gosh-darn dave and busters FOR ALL ETERNITY

About your art. I don't know how true this is, but like. I always just go, oh! It's soft! Like, I don't know how to explain it cause every time I see art here, it's soft and squishy, and I look at it when I'm having trouble with practicing soft stuff cause it looks so pretty.

Nathan and I have watched Saiki K on and off over the last couple of years, but when our cat’s health started going downhill we put it on to watch it as a family. This started about…March 26th? And then after Cloud passed, and we got settled back in, we started playing Saiki and…haven’t stopped. For about two weeks now. Unless we’re using the TV for something else, it plays in the background during the day, and at night while we sleep…Whenever. Non-stop. If it runs up to where we aren’t caught up (we’re about 6 episodes from finishing, I think), we restart it from episode 1. It has been a constant grounding force in our house, because it’s just such a funny, cozy, and loving show. It’s incredible how we just never get tired of it, and it’s been a godsend during all this grief

but yeah, I’ve always adored the show but now it holds a special place in my heart for that reason too, which has also thrown my fandom interest into SKY HIGH LEVELS!!! so you’re gonna be seeing a lot of it on your dash for a bit ^^;
