Just like bcs barry has me way more interested in the gay drug lords than the main characters' complicated and ultimately doomed romance<3
#honestly it is very similar like its not as good but its good#i do like sallys whole thing and ig its got some interesting commentary on hollywood and celeb-culture but idk enough about it to say#i think im halfway through season 3 and wow you should have just killed the uncle-esq guy in like the second episode and everything would#okay now but you didn’t so you're fucked#at least personally i was pretty drawn in by the Afghanistan-flashbacks and the diffefences in barry's fellow soldiers' reactions#the once encouraged violence being taken 'too far' but still (bc of racism and the american war agenda) not being punished#like my first thought when they started with the second flashback was just Oh this guy 100% did a warcrime and got away with it
