feels so weird that my internship is over now
#it was a really nice last day#got hugged by my beloved coworkers. listened to the finale of the pen and paper podcast we were listening to.#ate some of the tiny tomatoes we're growing on the adjacent roof.#we ordered from this neat syrian restaurant round the corner#one of my coworkers baked a cake#left some origami creachures behind. including two batmen a donkey a goat two birds two foxes a cat..#ive really enjoyed this last year.#going on castle tours and sharing a room and hanging out wrapped in blankets in our airbnb in the evenings when we were on the castle job#our boss in shining armor saving us from the creep airbnb and the following bonding over ripped movies with my friend#whining about how everything hurts after two weeks in the archive#making fun of old crests and trying to identify the saints on ancient wax seals#listening to romance audiobooks#weeks of being a museum rat#hanging out in the photo studio like the equivalent of the mortician in any crime series/the radiologist in a hospital series#every time we went to restaurants together but especially the korean place in würzburg#made a lot of fond memories this past year <3#one of the fondest being sitting on that airbnb sofa while drawing and cry laughing at monty python#while my coworker was sitting on the other end writing for her dnd campaign and cry laughing listening to critical role#im gonna miss those people but im not super super sad because theres so few people working in restoration that we'll def cross paths again#anyways on my way home i saw a kid do that 'put your phones speaker in yr mouth and hands to ur ears' thing WHILE WALKING IN PUBLIC#just a child phone in mouth hands covering ears BOY IF YOU FALL THERE WILL BE A PHONE IN YOUR THROAT#ok wow respect if u read through all of this#im very content atm. just like. this job wont pay too well and its difficult work. but i think i was right choosing this path and i belong.
