……❪ hongjoong was the first person to really open his arms and welcome olivia. he was the most open-minded when the ceo talked about her being in ateez, and actually encouraged the idea to other members. he helps her most often with her improvements, her vocals, her raps when she has them. things she is amazing at, he helps to make them brilliant. she would often say that without hongjoong she probably would have given up her dream and flew back to michigan to study psychology and literature. hongjoong saw what ivy did in ioi, and he ran with it. he saw the potential in her and wanted her to do great things, even if she wasn't in ateez. he helped her rebrand her name. she went from jisoo of ioi, with cute concepts and higher pitched vocals. to being ivy of ateez with stronger concepts and lower range vocals. ❫

……❪ ivy and hongjoong have a special bond, they kind of take care of each other. she makes sure he gets the rest and nutrients that he needs, and he makes sure she stays healthy mentally. ivy said hongjoong was her dad when she needed a dad. and that true, he puts his foot down when he needs to and everything he does is with love and appreciation. to hongjoong, ivy is kind of like the sunshine on a rainy day. they can be goofy, serious, and emotional together all in one day. ivy said she wasn't sure why when she first met him, but she felt some sort of connection with hongjoong that she only felt with her siblings and her dad, she said it was like they were family before they knew anything about each other. this is also shown by how overly protective he is over her, he just constantly wants her to be safe. ❫

……❪ hong likes to mess around with ivy from time to time. if she is doing something, just minding her business, he'll go 'yah! what're you doing?' and she'll wonder what she's doing wrong before she sees him laugh. often times they will play tackle, and he always lets ivy win. they will have fake arguments, that can and probably will turn into real ones, so never ask if it's real cause it might cause it to be. hj is also really supportive of every decision ivy makes. if she decided one day that she needs to leave ateez and fins herself, he would be absolutely heartbroken, and obviously he would want to talk about it. but whatever her final decision is, he's going to support it. ❫

……❪ ivy and seonghwa's bond is fairly emotional? seonghwa was there for ivy in her darkest times, she said she probably opens up to him the most whenever she's in a hard situation. in the beginning seonghwa was welcoming, she said she believed he supported her being in ateez 100% because of how welcoming he was. which, let's be clear, seonghwa was iffy about the idea. and even when she fully joined the group and moved in, he was still a little on the edge. he supported the idea maybe 78% after a few days. but he never showed in doubt because, one he felt that hongjoong saw something in her that no one else did, and two he didn't want to hurt her feelings when she was already going through some weird circumstances. ❫

……❪ the two of them are very open with one another. they have this thing where they do 'check-ups' on each other every few weeks or whenever they feel like something is wrong. seonghwa does the most because he's always worried about her. he probably spoils her the MOST out of all the members. anything she wants, she gets, and seonghwa makes sure of it. she is pretty much his baby. they are constantly together in holding hands, hugging, or anything really. wooyoung complains that ivy always gets her way with seonghwa, but how could he say no to her?! ❫

……❪ they're actually really goofy with each other. they could all be talking about something and ivy will just straight up jump on him. he will randomly tickle her in the middle of fan meets. like they're just a really cute duo. however, like all members, he is so protective with her. he's one of the members that will give her his jacket/blazer if there are no blankets around to cover her legs when she's in skirts. he's the one to make sure she eating well, to make sure she feels safe. and he's doing a darn good job at that, ivy even told fans that seonghwa feels like home. he's warm, comforting, safe, you just want to be around him when you've had a long day. ❫

yunho !

……❪ in the beginning, yunho was also a little iffy on ivy joining. but he was really excited to know her nonetheless. he liked that he was meeting someone as popular as ivy, someone that has the idol experience. they kind of grew on each other really quickly, and soon became like best friends. he would defend her in every argument that wooyoung would have with her because he wanted her to know that she was wanted in ateez. it was like the two of them clicked, they were meeting each other one day, and then the next they were running around amok. ivy even says yunho is one of her biggest supporters. ❫

……❪ their emotional bond isn't as strong as seonghwa and ivy's but it's still there. they are, again, very supportive of each other. they will talk about things that she might feel awkward talking to the others about because yunho is just really easy to talk to. she says that yunho is the guy that wouldn't tell anything but your darkest secrets to. and she means that, she trusts him with her whole life. and yunho trusts her too, having that she's really good at advice, he will go to her when he needs to. it a kind of relationship where they're still learning a lot of small things about each other, but they could tell you each others trauma. because yunho knows how ivy can get fairly scared or anxious in certain situations, he's always there to help. if someone's making her uncomfortable he would 100% go to jail for her. ❫

……❪ one of the goofiest relationships everrrrr. if ivy isn't climbing on yunho like he's a tree, she's probably already attached to his back. and ivy is also constantly thrown over yunho's shoulder. they jump around and pick on each other a lot. often times if they are at fanmeets, or doing something where they have to just stand there, yunho will let her mess with his rings, bracelets, jacket, whatever it is because he knows she can't stand still for shit. there was one time where she didn't have anyones jewelry to mess with, so she literally just jumped on his back. so in order to stop him from falling and killing them both, he always has some type of jewelry for her to play with. ❫

yeosang !

……❪ yeosang and ivy are two very shy people, especially around new people. so when they first met they literally stood there and waved at each other, that was their greeting. it actually took the longest for them to get close out of everyone else, but somehow they are two of the closest members. the reason it took so long was because of her feud with wooyoung, and having that woo and yeo are best friends it made it hard for them to bond over anything. but once they did start talking, it was like an instant connection. they're the same zodiac sign, their birthdays are five days apart, their favorite food is chicken, they enjoy some of the same activities, and the list could go on really. this has made them become really really close and ivy would say that yeosang is one of her closest friends, and yeosang was originally her twin, so now they're called OG twins. ❫

……❪ emotions are a little tricky with yeosang, he doesn't really seem like the guy to open up very easily, even to wooyoung. ivy noticed this in the beginning and new not to bombard him with emotional situations like she would with seonghwa, but she's actually learned that yeosang is a great listener, and is willing to help where he can. the two of them have had difficult pasts, especially when it came to deciding to be idols. it's an interesting thing to look at, seeing as ivy is so open about her history and trauma, and how yeosang isn't really. but other than that they are fairly similar to each other, they have the same attitude, they are very un-ironically hilarious, they're a great duo. and like all the other members, he's pretty protective. nowhere near as protective as hongjoong or san persé but still very protective ❫

……❪ they are so funny, they constantly clown the other members, and each other. don't think ivy is ever letting yeosang live that sexy dance down during quarantine. and yeosang is never letting ivy live that falling incident down either. they got some shit on each other in honestly, a lot of inside jokes that they will make specifically just to confuse other people. they're evil. they also do a lot of the same faces, like when a a member does something weird/gross, they make the same disgusted face. they are practically the same person. ❫

san !

……❪ san was actually really excited to have ivy be a member. well. not at first, but after he warmed up to it, he was practically jumping up and down. he found the idea really interesting, and granted he was on the fence about it for a while, he was happy with her final decision. it's easy to get along with ivy, in his words, and he finds her to be really gentle and sweet. ivy says san is her number one hypeman, he is her biggest fan really. and san says ivy is kind of like his as well. since day on, san was very helpful towards ivy. he helped her move into her room, helped her around the dorm, even helped her with school work. ❫

……❪ san knows a lot about ivy, he knows all these traumatic aspects of her life that made her the woman she is. she's been through a lot, and it explains some of her habits and traits, which is why san is listed as one of the most protective of her. he makes sure she is comfortable in everything she wear, he will fix her skirts for her, keep her from suspicious male idols and staff. he refuses to let anyone disrespect or belittle ivy, and he certainly will not have it with misogynistic comments. so overall, it's safe to say she feels protected and safe around san. ❫

……❪ they like to mess around with each other. they are also very affectionate with each other, they hug and cuddle a lot. they make jokes with each other and laughing for hours, annoying everyone else around them. san is one of those people that makes ivy laugh the hardest, even if he doesn't mean to. ivy often embarrassed san, she says a little bit of bullying humble someone - this is 100% a joke by the way, don't bully people - she claims that san is too cocky sometimes and needs to tone it down for atiny's sake, so she puts him in his place, with love of course. and laughter. ❫

……❪ mingi was overly thrilled to hear olivia joined the company, and was extremely shocked when their ceo explained that she would be joining ateez. he didn't have much against the idea, what he worried about was how people would treat her rather than the whole group. he still worries about what people say about her. he wishes he could stop every negative comment thrown towards her, and that just something ivy loves. mingi is one of the most heartfelt people she has ever met, and that was made obvious since day one. they got along really well really fast. he really made the space comfortable for her, which is something she appreciates as an introvert surrounded by four other extroverts. her first thought when she saw him was that he was really cute, he reminded her a lot of a crush she had at school during her ioi days. his first thought when he met her was how pretty she was, he said that he remembers what she was wearing that day ❫

……❪ mingi is kind of known to be very passionate person, which ivy loves because she is too. together they have deep talks until later at night, they talk about their feeling - unless they wanna make things difficult for each other and for some godforsaken reason - and even though she trusted mingi, she took her time talking about her past with him. she didn't want to scare him away or trauma dump on someone she cared for so dearly. when he found out she felt this way, he nearly cried. her whole life she struggled talking about her own past because no one listened to her, but mingi promise he would ALWAYS listen to her, in every situation possible. he also made it a goal to protect her from negativity when he can. she's always told where mingi will be so if she needs him for any reason, she knows where to find him. she's protected in big crows, and around people she's uncomfortable around. he also makes sure that the clothing the stylists give her are comfortable for her, and if they aren't he styles her himself. he knows she doesn't like crying in public, so when it happens his chest is her pillow. ❫

……❪ such a fun and loving duo. like with yunho, she's always on his back or just on him in someway. sometimes he will carry her like a baby, she will sit on his lap, lay on him, he's practically her bed at this point. when they nap, she doesn't lay on a bed, she lays on him. they're also really funny and flirty with each other. ivy will always blow him a kiss or kiss his cheek, and mingi will tell her how beautiful she is and give her forehead kisses. overall, it's clear to see they cherish physical touch. but mingi can also be big on gift giving. anytime he is out he buys her a snack or something that reminds him of her. she's also huge on quality time, so she enjoys just spending time with mingi, no matter what it is that they're doing. ❫

wooyoung !

……❪ they hated each other. like really badly. at first it honestly wasn't horrible, wooyoung was just concerned about how the group will end up with ivy in the group. but once she confirmed that she was joining, things just got worse. they would bicker and argue almost everyday, hongjoong has had to seperate them a few times, often sending ivy off with yunho and mingi and sending wooyoung with yeosang and san. things didn't really get better until late 2018 - early 2019, and even then they still had a lot to learn. ivy says they got closest during covid because they were trapped together so it made sense. wooyoung says during their pre-debut and debut it was the worst, and then it slowly got better after debut, and then their relationship really spiked in late 2019 to 2020 ❫

……❪ even when they didn't like each other, they still obviously cared for each other, having that they were in the same group. the dynamic was odd but it never had to make sense in the first place. wooyoung says he regrets so many things he has said to ivy and that she never deserved that. they both beat themselves up a lot over their past together, and now they're really protective over each other. they know how the other handles mean words and hatred, so they do everything in their to make sure they're not greatly affected by it. they want to make up for the pain they caused each other, so they now know the other will always be there for each other. ❫

……❪ back then, teasing would've started an argument with these two, but now that's all they do. anytime wooyoung does aegyo she goes 'aish, why are you like this' and cringes. anytime she does something sexy, because it's unusual for her to be overly sexy, he teases her for it 'olivia! who taught you those things!' and she stares at him like 'you bitch the fuck?' they are also very touchy with each other, they giggle together and are constantly hugging or linking arms. it was actually ivy who started the whole 'wooyoung is kirby' thing. she posted a picture of kirby on his birthday and went 'ha, it's you. happy birthday kirby' and it's just been a thing every since because people can't unsee it. ❫

jongho !

……❪ jongho was fairly open to the idea of having ivy in the group, he didn't hate it nor love it. he new that it was going to happen anyway, he didn't see kq letting ivy saying no. so he learned to just deal with it. what he didn't expect was how ivy would act around him. jongho has said that all the members has someone they felt close with or had a special connection with, and he didn't really have that until ivy came around. she always made sure jongho was involved with everyone, and encouraged him to communicate with the others more. in a time he was supposed to welcome ivy, ivy welcomed him... ❫

……❪ they are really close, and even though jongho kind of shelters his emotions, ivy somehow always lets a little bit loose sometimes. and jongho i always willing to listen to her. jongho will never really show it off as much as the others, but he's really protective of her. she calls him her bodyguard because he will always walk in close distance to her around big crowds. she giggles every time he pushes her behind him and he sizes the crowd up, she doesn't even think he realizes that he does it. ❫

……❪ the reason they are called the twins is because one, they are closest in age, and two because they always feel the same emotion at the same time. no one knows how or why, but it's always been a thing. the rest of the group separates them from each other when they're sick to try and prevent it, but it hardly ever works. jongho often teases her, but in reality, he has the biggest soft spot for her. she can punch and bully him as much as she wants and he won't do a goddamn thing. but god forbid mingi accidentally smacks him. he really loves ivy, so even tho he won't willing receive affection from the others, even though it's believed he secretly loves it, he will allow ivy to hug him, hold his hand, and sometimes he will give her a kiss on the cheek. ❫

Sato Yuuri was born on September 28, 2002 in Takamatsu, Japan to criminals Sato Michiya and Hiroka. She was fostered and later adopted by an American couple, Daisy and Logan Hughes and is one of six children. As she came from a family full of (albeit unknown) musicians, she showed interest in singing as early as five. She remained connected to her roots as she listened to J-pop and later K-pop as well.

After a video of her singing while playing Just Dance 2016 went viral, a Delphi Entertainment staff member saw and scouted her. She came to South Korea to audition properly, as well as auditioning at other companies in person and auditioning online at companies in Japan. She got accepted into multiple companies, and was going to choose Avex but was too nervous to go through with it. She ultimately chose Delphi Entertainment in the end.

In 2017, she was announced as a trainee in Delphi Entertainment’s pre-debut girl group project; GIRLISH, with nine other girls. She was well received by the public and was the third member to be revealed for GIRL TALK. She debuted in 2018 in the girl group GIRL TALK as their maknae, lead vocalist, and lead dancer.

How would the guys react to Roux coming out

Roux was not scared of how they would react, no, she knew that despite anything they would support her. But after the controversy blew up, she was more scared it could taint the group’s image, or ruin their reputation. So because of that, she decided to tell each of the members the truth. If the world couldn’t know the truth yet, at least her closest friends, her family could.

Hongjoong: At one of the nights the two of you were on the studio, you thought it was finally the time to tell him. As the leader, he feels responsible to all of his members, so he would first offer wise words of wisdom and reassurance, emphasizing the importance of being true to oneself and expressing support for Roux. He would reaffirm that there’s nothing wrong with her and that it’s fine being who she is, that she shouldn’t worry about the public’s reception, that she should focus on being herself and continue as she is. But sadly he would have to have a down to earth conversation that she should be cautious, like a worried dad would be, not because of how might affect the group, but how it could put her in danger.

Mingi: After a dance practice for a speacial stage, as they both were catching some breath, she told him. He instantly said that everything would be fine, similar to Hongjoong, and said he thought she was very brave for being herself despite everything. To not make the topic heavy, he carried on normally, but making sure to make her feel comfortable with herself.

Yunho: They were walking by a lake, late at night, and when they stopped to look at the stars, she said to him. His first answer was give Roux a big hug, showing his affection and support. He expressed how proud he is of her for being brave enough to share her identity with him, and was more than happy to share this new chapter of her story with Roux.

Yeosang: As they were making dinner, Roux just simply threw a “Oh, have you seen the rumours?” And he was like “Yes, I did.”, she simply said “they are true.” Yeosang would be quiet for a while before offering her quiet support and understanding to Roux. He sat down and expressed that although he might not be as loud, he still is happy for her and wishes her the best.

San: One of these days, Roux was accompanying San on his workout at the gym. He would actually be the one who started the conversation by asking how she was doing after this scandal. Roux would say she was fine and that she wished people would be more chill about having queer kpop idols like herself. It would take a hot minute for San to understand but then he would give her a big smile and become really enthusiastic in his support for Roux, expressing his excitement at getting to know her more deeply. He would also start asking her question, always making sure she isn’t uncomfortable with them, because he is genuinely curious.

Seonghwa: It was a bad day for Roux actually. She was deep in her room thinking about her ex and how now she would end up alone because being an idol and lesbian would be hard. Seonghwa heard her crying and knocked on her door and asked to come in. As he sat down beside her, he offered to listen, as always, to whatever was bothering her. As she told him everything, he would make sure she knows that he's there for her to talk to and that her identity doesn't change how much he cares about her. As I mentioned on my previous post, Seinghwa is like a mother to her, so he would go to hell and back to defend her. At the end he offered some of the cookies he was baking.

Wooyoung: Woo and Roux are very close. Between all the members, they are the closest to each other, said that, he knows every little thing about her. They were watching tv, when a lesbian couple appeared. As Roux began to talk, Wooyoung simply said: “What? Are you about to tell me you are a lesbian? Girl as if I didn’t know….your gay ass would CONSTANTLY talk about how hot you think Renee Rapp is, or how insanely hot Ryujin is on stage, or daydreaming about living in a farm with a woman even though you hate bugs. I don’t know who you think you are fooling, but it ain’t me.” and would give that classic smile. He would start making a lot of jokes but Roux know that Wooyoung means good, and that’s his way of saying that everything is fine and that he loves her in any way.

Jongho: They were talking about something work related, when the topic died she thought it would be best to come clean with all of the members, so she just said to him that’s she’s a lesbian. Jongho just looked at her and said “Okay”. Now, Roux didn’t know what she was expecting, but that answer was not what she thought. So she would simply mind her business and continue with her day. Later that day, Jongho sent her a message:

“I’m sorry if my answer felt odd is just that it’s literally okay? 😀 Like if you were a dinosaur, you would still be the talented, amazing, funny and caring friend that you are. I hope you know that I support you and that you are always welcome to talk to me. Now I’m at that noodle shop you love, would you want some?”

“Omg I love u, u are the best, now bring them noodles home!! 🫡

⸻ * ❪ 🌀 … VISAGE is a five membered girl group that debuted in MAY 2018 under KQ entertainment. the group consist of members; JOHNNY, HADES, INDIGO, Y/N, and KRYSTAL. the group debuted with the mini album GHOSTS OF TOMORROW. in 2018, the group was able to win ROTY at almost every award show except for MAMA.

the group was originally introduced as a predebut project KQ GALZ in 2017 along with KQ BOYZ. the project involved a mini docu-series which showed the girls as they entered the final stages of their trainee days and prepared for their debut. the series and the members were praised for their strong chemistry and how easily they were able to help and communicate with each other.

the group was met with seemingly instant success thanks to their debut song DITTO which helped the group become the fastest girl group to get a music show win which was just five days after their debut. since then the group has been on the rise to success both domestically and internationally.

along with a successful debut, the group has become known for their rather complex storyline tells the story of how the five girls all play a major role in the end of the world. this is also become a multi-media project with the story being told through video games, webtoon, novellas, concerts, and even a cd drama.

the group is also praised for how hands on they are with their comebacks with member Y/N often producing for the group and HADES even helping choreographing the dances.

Inferno

Chapter One: Pompeii

Part Two: The Meeting

Hades froze. He did not expect to encounter someone so soon in his venture into the human realm. Yet, he found himself so engrossed in this mysterious woman that he completely forgot his original purpose for leaving the Underworld’s palace. The way her long, ginger hair flowed down her back in a soft, flower-infused braid reminded him of all the beauty that was absent from his world. It was then that he decided that he needed her- desperately.

And ‘fake it’ is what she did for nearly two whole weeks. Aurora’s life became a cycle of not enjoying the way her life was going, yet feeling too powerless to do anything about it.

Her day-to-day consisted of going to work, being Allen's lackey, and hating life. Then she would go home, avoid her ex like the plague, cry, drink herself to sleep, and wake up to hate life all over again. The weekend was a lot harder than the work days. Without the distraction of her busy office, she was left to think about how quickly it felt like things were getting away from her. She had it all just days ago. Now she was sitting in wine-stained pajamas, eating a mix of her own tears and ice cream out of a cup while watching some awful talk show that she, honestly, was not able to keep up with.

“We interrupt this regularly scheduled program to bring you breaking news. Another woman has gone missing near the intersection of Cromer and Mobius in Seattle, Washington. The 26 year old woman, Momo Hirai, was last seen outside of club Inferno with an unknown man. At the time of her disappearance, Momo was seen wearing a black crop top with a hot pink skirt and black thigh-high boots.” The monotonous voice of the anchor woman relays. “The man she left with has yet to be identified but according to police sources, he could be tied to the disappearance of Kim Minjeon- known to friends and family as Winter- who had been reported missing last Tuesday. That is just one of the many missing person’s cases that have been filed this month. If you know anything, we encourage you to come forward with information.”

“Oh wow,” Aurora mumbles to herself, wiping her tear-stained cheeks. “Things are getting serious. I need to start checking in on Lilly more when she goes out.” As if she summoned her, Lilly’s face lit up Aurora’s phone screen and the chorus to “Obsession,” by Exo, filled the room.

“He—“

“We have to go out this weekend! You and me! We need a girls night. There’s this hot new club I keep hearing about and Dawn is dying to take me. Also you desperately need to get out of the house, so you can’t say no,” Lilly said all in one breath.

Aurora raised an eyebrow, confused by the blonde’s sudden outburst the minute she answered the phone. “What happened to: ‘Hi, hello, how are you, how is your night?”

“Just say you will come out with me on Saturday,” Lilly said and Aurora swore she could hear the rolling of eyes through the phone. “You don’t need to eat out of another carton of ice cream.” Aurora subconsciously clutched her cup of ice cream closer to her chest. “Also, you have to meet Dawn.” Dawn is Lilly’s work crush that Aurora always heard about. They never really interacted because they work in different departments but they seemed nice enough.

“First of all, it’s a cup,” Aurora replied defensively. “Second, I’ll think about it.”

This made Lilly groan loudly through the speaker. “You have to come, I need a wing woman…I’ll buy all the Long Island Ice Teas that you want… And I’ll make sure to get us a ride,” she whines.

Aurora hesitates. When Lilly goes out, she goes hard. Aurora was not sure she could keep up after having been a homebody these past 4 years. She wasn’t that same wild 20 year old that she used to be. The wear and tear of nurturing a relationship had weathered her. Without the support of the man she once loved, Aurora was not even sure she would make it to the end of the year and it was currently October.

“C’mon, Dawn has been there a few times and they swear it’s a vibe,” Lilly said enthusiastically. “Saturday is a costume party and we have to go. I’m already working on getting us matching costumes. I’m thinking of going as sexy witches because we’re bad bitches.” Aurora didn’t even have to see her best friend to know that she was on the other side of this phone wiggling her eyebrows.

Aurora sighed out a laugh before pinching the bridge of her brows with her fingers. “Okay,” she begins and she could hear Lilly begin to squeak in success. “AHT! Not done. I’ll go on the condition that you get me a costume, buy my drinks, get us a ride, and promise not to get me to hook up with some stranger at a nightclub.” Lilly groaned, she should have known.

“Rory, you are extremely sexy. You need to use your assets to your advantage.” Aurora rolled her eyes.

“I think you use your assets more than enough for the both of us, ” Aurora said playfully. “I’ll keep my assets to myself, thank you very much.”

Lilly sighed dramatically. “You’re no fun, but whatever. Have it your way if you must. Just be ready by 9.” That’s kinda early for clubbing, Aurora thought.

“Oh, and I'll get your costume by tomorrow so you can do any last minute tailoring.”

“Tomor– tomorrow is Friday, Lills.” Aurora said in confusion. “That’s literally only one day–”

“Bye,” Lilly sings-songs on the other end of her phone before hanging up. This bit–.

Friday arrives quickly along with the costume Lilly bought Aurora. When Aurora takes the costume out of the black garment bag, she finds a black, velvet wicked witch of the west costume. The sweetheart neckline, long, flowing sleeves, open back, and lace trimmings were snugg around Aurora’s whole body. She was a bit on the thicker side but you can see every crevice that made up her curves. This costume was nothing but scandalous.

By Saturday night, Aurora fully understood why they needed to be out of the house by nine. The ride there was horrendous. They spent several minutes stuck in traffic and that was just getting on the freeway to head downtown. Once they reached the downtown area, it was absolute hell, but when you go out with a carouser, you’re always on time in their world.

Aurora followed behind Lilly- who gracefully floated her way to the queue of the club- huffing in annoyance as she struggled to keep up. The striped thigh-high knee socks that Aurora wore kept rolling down and exposing her skin to the cool Autumn air. Taking a brief pause to adjust the flimsy material once more, she bent over to give the hem of her sock a tug when she was overcome by the densely ominous feeling of being watched. The sensation stopped her in her tracks. She stood up and, for a moment, she was unable to focus on anything other than a vague vision of eyes burning a trail on the exposed s–kin of her upper thighs. She was so lost in the sensation that she nearly forgot where she was, but then, these ‘fucking ruby red maryjanes’ were killing the heels of her feet- snapping her right back into the present. She looks around for a moment, trying to find Lilly as she regains her sense of reality. And there Lilly was, waiting for Aurora to join her in the line, and waving Aurora over like a mad woman.

Aurora decided to ignore the feeling as she took in Lilly’s excited expression. She hadn’t been out clubbing in a while, maybe she just forgot what it felt like when so many people were occupying the same space. “Where’s your little work crush at?” Lilly flinched at the sound of Aurora’s voice.

“They said they were coming, Rory. We just have to give them a minute and they’ll get us in,” Lilly said, giving Aurora a pleading look. “If we don’t get in within the next 30 minutes, we can leave. I promise.”

“Within the next 15 minutes,” Aurora glared, annoyed by the blonde who had her shoulders slumped in defeat. “I am not standing out here for another 30 minutes. I want to go home.”

As if by a miracle, a burly man dressed in all black appeared in front of them. He looked at them then nodded his head while his fingers pressed against his ear piece. “Alright, you two come with me.” Lilly looks back at Aurora in surprise, but follows behind the man without much thought. The people that were left in the long line Aurora and Lilly stepped out of complained loudly as the two were escorted from the back of the line to the front entrance, making Aurora curious as to what was so good about this place.

Music blared through Aurora’s ears so loud that she swore her head was vibrating. She was slick with sweat as she danced with Lilly and a very drunk Dawn who had just arrived, but was all over Lilly. Aurora had no idea how long they had been dancing for, but she was already several songs in and it felt amazing.

Almost as if it was attempting to ruin her night, Aurora’s striped socks began sliding down to her knee, forcing her to bend over just as the bass of the song drops. As soon as her hands grasped the tops of her socks she was weighed down by the same ominous feeling that gave her pause outside the club. This time, the feeling was so strong that it pulled her out of the cloudy haze of euphoria that the people around her were engulfed in. The tap of a hand on her shoulder causes her to spin around and meet the intoxicated eyes of her best friend.

“I’m going to go get a drink,” Aurora yelled to Lilly over the thump of the Jersey mix she had never heard before. “I’ll be right back!” She needed to drown out her anxiety. Unfortunately for Aurora, the bartender was behind on orders. He was running around pouring, shaking, mixing and serving to the best of his ability, but there was truly no way he could catch up to the overwhelming crowd of people surrounding the bar. Dejected, she realized that she was going to have to wait a little while if she wanted that Long Island Ice Tea- and she did.

Three club remixes had played while everyone else had gotten more drunk when suddenly a stool opened up at the bar. Aurora jumped at the chance to give her feet a break. She sighs in relief as her weight shifts off of her heels and onto the chair, but that relief is short lived. The moment she relaxed in the chair she felt a cold shiver run down her spine which was fully exposed in her backless, tiny, black costume. Instantly, Aurora’s gaze swept the foggy scenery of the dark club in search of the eyes she knew were watching her– they were in the room with her. She searched and searched the hot, sweaty bodies grinding all around her until she heard–

“What can I get for you?”

Aurora is forced to turn her attention to the bartender.

“Oh! A Long Island Iced Tea please,” she says, still slightly distracted.

While she waits for her drink to be made, Aurora finds herself interested in the TV hanging above the bar. She let her eyes wander to a large sign illuminating the word ‘Inferno’ in neon blue. That’s when she noticed that there was a second floor lounge area with a view of the entire club. Her thoughts were cut off as her eyes landed on a man behind the glass.

He sat with his legs spread, a glass full of dark liquor pressed against his lips, as he eyed Aurora from the elevated VIP section. He was incredibly intimidating: dark hair, dark eyes, dark suit- dark aura, and yet, Aurora found herself absolutely entranced by him. Who is he?

Aurora found herself feeling compelled to stand up. She needed to talk to him. Or if not, to see him up close. She made her way over to the stairs that lead to the VIP section, and away from the overbearing music of the dance floor. Their eyes remained locked her entire way up. The closer she got to him, the louder the alarm bells rang in her head but she couldn’t stop her feet from moving to where he was. Before she knew it, she had passed the velvet ropes. It was too late to turn back now. She took a few more steps forward to find herself directly in front of him.

He lifted the corner of his lips to offer a smirk. The motion revealed a small dimple, but she was only focused on his pouty, pink lips. Those same lips parted to reveal his deep, alluring voice,

“Hello.”

Time: February 2020

Summary: After Seungkwan learns about Jeonghan's little crush, he meets up with Wooyoung to come up with a plan to set the two up

“Let’s try it one more time.” Woozi instructed Seungkwan, who was currently in the booth recording.

“That's the 23rd time you’ve said that.” Jeonghan grumbled.

“This time with more emphasis on the ending.” The vocal leader ignored Jeonghan's commentary, making Joshua chuckle from his seat on the couch.

Seungkwan jotted down the note on his music sheet, “Okay.”

Jeonghan mentally groaned, sprawling his body along the couch and resting his head on Joshua’s lap. Woozi’s perfectionism had prolonged their recording session extremely long, keeping Jeonghan from getting some sleep in the comfort of his soft and cozy bed back at the dorm. Although he could get some sleep now while he’s waiting for his turn in the recording booth, his sensitive hearing just wouldn’t allow it.

He pulled out his phone in hopes to find something to entertain him. Aimlessly scrolling through twitter, he caught a quick glimpse of Amanda’s face. He instantly scrolled back up to the clip and clicked on it.

Nowadays he often finds himself admiring random photos and video clips of her as he scrolled through his private twitter, which was probably why many of her videos began popping up on his for you page.

Joshua snuck a glance at his fellow 95er friend's screen, “Is that another clip of Amanda?”

Jeonghan hummed a reply, fully engrossed in the video with a tender smile spread across his face. Joshua grinned, intrigued to see his friend interested in someone. A rare occurrence.

He was probably the only one that knew about Jeonghan’s interest in Amanda. He had sensed something between the two when he spotted them together backstage at MAMA last year. But everytime Joshua inquired about Jeonghan’s feelings for her, he always managed to find a way to dodge it. One of Jeonghan’s many talents.

“Great job! You're all done for today Seungkwan.” Woozi’s sudden compliment to Seungkwan drawed the two 95’s attention back. Jeonghan sprung up on the couch, swiftly putting his phone away, ready for his turn in the booth.

Seungkwan gave a thumbs up to him as he began gathering his things. The vocal leader spun his chair towards Jeonghan, “Let’s take a break for a few minutes before we start on your session.”

“No problem.” Jeonghan returned to his previous position on the couch. Although he wanted nothing more to finish his recording, he knew the break was more for Woozi than it was for him.

Woozi had been helping a majority of the members record their part since the beginning of the day. Plus the group has been diligently preparing for their upcoming tour these past few weeks, so of course he was extremely exhausted. The dark circles under his eyes and him chugging down his 8th cup of coca cola (the man has a serious obsession) only confirmed it.

“Good work today, Kwanie!” Jeonghan compliments his younger member.

“Thanks, hyung!” The younger member beamed, feeling proud to be getting compliments from his hyungs as he packed his bag.

Woozi sipped his drink before asking, “Are you going back to the dorms?”

“No, I’m meeting a dongsaeng.”

“Which one?” Joshua questioned, knowing well that Seungkwan sociability led him to easily make numerous friends in the industry.

“Ateez’s Wooyoung.”

Jeonghan’s ear perks up recalling the familiar name of the group and the member. He jerked up from laying on the couch startling the vocal team’s youngest member, “When did you become friends with him?”

“I’ve told you this before.”

A puzzled expression spread across the older member’s face, obviously not recalling it, “I don’t think so.”

“I did. Backstage at MAMA. Ringing any bells?” Jeonghan remained clueless, triggering Seungkwan to let out an exasperated huff, “Forget it. I’m going now. See ya.”

“Wait!” Jeonghan suddenly blurted, which not only baffled Seungkwan and the other two members witnessing the scene but mostly himself.

“Pfftt.” Everyone's eyes shifted from Jeonghan towards the other 95er in the room, who was snickering after putting the puzzle together.

Finally Seungkwan was the first to speak up and ask the question they were all wondering, “What’s wrong?”

Jeonghan froze. What should he say?

I happen to be interested in your new dongsaeng Wooyoung’s member Amanda. So help me meet her.

If he told Seungkwan about his little crush, he knew Seungkwan would never let him live it down and neither will Woozi. Just looked at Joshua's smug grin right now and Jeonghan hadn’t even officially confessed to him.

Yet this might be his only chance to find out more about her and get a chance to meet her again.

After a few seconds of contemplating, he agreed upon subtly gaining information from him. He plastered on his most uninterested and chill expression, “Are you friends with any of his members?”

Seungkwan narrowed his eyes, “No. But I hear a lot about them from Wooyoung.”

Jeonghan’s shoulders slightly slumped as he mumbled, “So you haven’t met any of the other members.”

“No. Why are you so curious about-” A shocked gasp escaped the younger member’s lips once it hit him like a bag of rocks, “Oh my gosh! Hyung, are you interested in Amanda?”

“That does explain him looking at photos of her earlier.” Woozi chimed in.

“I wouldn’t say I'm interested. More like, curious.” Jeonghan shrugged it off casually, but Joshua shaking his head with a grin smacked onto his face behind him showed otherwise.

Seungkwan became speechless by seeing Jeonghan’s bashfulness for the first time in the decade that he’s known him. The hyung he knew had never really liked anyone. Well as far as he knew.

“When did you meet her?” Woozi asked.

“At MAMA.”

“Sort of.” Joshua corrected him.

“I would have if you didn’t interrupt.” Jeonghan retorted.

“You would have missed our performance if I didn’t.”

Jeonghan ignored him and redirected his attention back to Seungkwan, “Do you think you can get me a chance to meet her again?”A mischievous grin spread across the younger member’s lips, “You want my help? What do I get out of it?” Jeonghan snarled, causing Seungkwan to laugh, “I’m kidding. I to talk to Wooyoung about meeting her but I can’t promise anything.”

The eldest embraced the youngest in a hug, “Thank you, Seungkwan-ah! This is why you are my favorite dongsaeng.”

“You and I both know that’s not true.”

“True. But let’s just say it is.” Jeonghan teased. Seungkwan rolled his eyes and shoved his hyung off, making Jeonghan laugh.

“Seungkwan hyung?”

Seungkwan snapped his eye towards his dongsaeng, Wooyoung, staring at him with a raised eyebrow, “Sorry. What did you say?”

“You okay hyung? You seem distracted today.”

“Yeah. Sorry.” He mumbled. His mind had been miles away. He had been considering how he should ask Wooyoung about Amanda. He wanted to help Jeonghan with his little crush. Even if he won’t admit it’s a crush. But he worried about how Wooyoung would react. “How are your members?”

“Same old same old.” Wooyoung’s eyes glued on the game screen.

“Amanda too?”

Wooyoung nodded, “Yeah.”

There was a moment of silence before Seungkwan finally blurted out, “Is she seeing anyone?

“What?” Wooyoung’s eyes, now filled with dumbfoundedness, shifted over at his hyung, causing him to lose grip on the game controller and lose the game, “Why are you so curious?”

“If I said someone I know is interested in her, what would you say?”

“Who? You?”

“No. One of my members.” Seungkwan sheepishly answered, praying it would be enough. But at last, Wooyoung’s endless peering broke him down, “Jeonghan hyung.”

Wooyoung was even more astonished now, “Really?” Seungkwan nodded in response. There was a few minutes of silence as Wooyoung attempted to wrap his head around this confession. “Is he really serious about her? Because Amanda is too good for him.”

Seungkwan fondly smiled at his dongsaeng protective brother mode kicking into high gear for his younger member. He knew Amanda had gone through a lot the past year. Although Wooyoung never went into details as to what happened, he could tell Wooyoung was really concerned about her. She was finally in a good place right now and the last thing Wooyoung wanted to do was cause something that could ruin that. “I agree. Amanda seems like an amazing person.”

“The best.” Wooyoung corrected him.

“Yes, the best.” He agreed. “I can promise you, Jeonghan is usually very serious about who he likes. And to be honest it’s the first time I’ve seen him like this. It’s rare to see him interested in someone.”

Wooyoung let out a defeated sigh, “Even if I did say I was okay with it, it’s up to Amanda.”

“Of course. So can you ask her to meet with Jeonghan?”

“I could but I don’t think she will say yes.”

Confusion surfaced on Seungkwan’s face,“Why? Does she not like Jeonghan?”

Wooyoung couldn’t help but laugh at the thought of Amanda hating anyone from Seventeen. The dozens of albums stacked in her room were evidence that it was impossible. “No, it’s just that she’s shy around new people and if she knew that it was a blind date, she won’t say yes.”

“What if she didn’t know about it?” Seungkwan suggested.

Wooyoung raised his eyebrows, “You want me to lie to her?”

“More like withholding the full truth.” He revised but Wooyoung didn’t seem convinced, “Come on. The worst thing that can happen is that it doesn’t work out between them.” At least”

“You don’t know how scary she gets when she’s mad.” Wooyoung leaned in towards his hyung before whispering, “You might never see me again.”

Seungkwan caught a glimpse of the fear flash in the younger boy’s eyes, “That scary, huh?” Wooyoung nodded. Seungkwan contemplated on what the next best strategy was to convince him. “Well, if things go well then she won’t be mad right? She will probably be really grateful. And we both will be there to watch after them. At least we can say we tried.”

Wooyoung ruffled his hair with his hand, letting out a defeated sigh, “Okay.”

“Great!” Seungkwan beamed. “When would Amanda be free?”

“Whenever we don’t have any schedules usually. She likes to lazy around the dorm on those days.” An amused smile spread across Wooyoung, thinking if Amanda was here she would be punching him for embarrassing her in front of one of her favorite idols.

Seungkwan chuckled at his comment, “Jeonghan is the exact same way. Maybe it is meant to be.”

( 🏹 ) — Cupid's Rejects was a six piece girl group under Sour Grapes Media and debuted on March 18, 2014. The girl group consisted of members Victoria, Jade, Hwayoung, Mimi, Jean, and Sena. The girl group was mainly known for their unique concept that had two sides: The Cupids and The Rejects, along with their complex lore that dealt with traveling between dimensions. Many people compared their concept as a mix between Red Velvet and LOONA.

Before the group officially debuted, Sour Grapes Media would release a series of videos that introduced each member and their part in the world of Cupid's Rejects. Sour Grapes' Creative Director Kim Hyemin would be credited to creating to the group as she also hand-picked each member based off of their evaluations at the company. Each member's teaser was released over the span of one month leading up to group's official debut.

The group would debut with the single album 'STEREOTYPE' and was met with mixed reception from international fans; however, was popular among the general public for their cute concept. The group wouldn't receive their first win until their second comeback two months after their debut with their second single album 'OMG' where they would end up taking home six wins total. Cupid's Rejects debut year was seen as extremely successful and even won Rookie of the Year at several award shows including MAMA 2014.

The following year in 2015, Cupid's Rejects would go to have a very successful year with several comebacks all being hyped up and winning several music show wins. The group would also hold their first concert that would be sold out and several of the members would go to appear in several variety shows, photoshoots, and dramas. They would be nominated for Best Female Artist at MAMA 2015, but did not win.

In 2016, it would announced that the group would be releasing their first full album later in the year. However, before that could happen, Sour Grapes would sudden post a message to their social medias that member Sena has been removed from the group. This news came as a shock to many fans as Sena was one of the most popular members and also the group's main vocalist. Sour Grapes would then go to release a statement saying that Sena was removed due to "using violent language and abusing her power over staff and some members." A week after the announcement, Sena's aunt, popular musical actress Park Jiyoon, would reveal that she would be suing the company for having mismanaged, defamed, and withheld paychecks from her niece.

Many staff members that have worked with Sena in the past would go to say that the then 17-year-old had never used violent language towards them and was very respectful towards everyone she worked with. The news of all of this would cause Sour Grapes to push forward the album release for Cupid's Rejects, and many netizens assumed that the other girls also had something to do with Sena's removal due to them not commenting or posting anything on the matter.

A month later, members of Cupid's Rejects would reveal to Dispatch they have all filed for lawsuits to terminate their exclusive contracts with Sour Grapes Media. All five girls were able to win their lawsuits and leave the company. Since then, members Victoria, Jade, and Mimi redebuted as a trio under Abyss Records, Hwayoung went into acting, and Jean debuted as a soloist. Former member Sena would also redebut under KQ Entertainment in the group ATEEZ.

hongjoong

yuri was hongjoong’s first friend going into the idol world, apart from eden and maddox, of course. his first true friend. on yuris first day, hongjoong was the one that showed her where her studio was, and later that evening, he bought both of them ice creams from the 7/11 on their way home, even though that was quite literally the majority of his money. he really wanted a friend, and he could tell that she was really anxious coming into a new company, especially when there’s only two trainees. yuri really appreciated hongjoong, he was so kind and sweet to her and didn’t treat her like royalty. yes, she was happy people knew her name and her work, but every person she tried to be friends with only wanted to talk about her job and all the people she’s met. she could tell hongjoong was excited to meet her, but he still treated her like a person.

soon enough, hongjoong and yuri were best friends. they spent every night in the studio together. at first it was only to work on music, but as they got to know each other more, it turned into staying up late laughing until their stomachs hurt and snacks being littered on the floor. when they over worked themselves, they always brought each other food and drinks. they even dragged each other out of the chair to force them to get some rest. they still do to this day.

hongjoong was the first person yuri really opened up to out of the group. the two of them have a lot of deep talks in the studio late at night after everyone went home to bed, and they always always end up in getting ice cream from 7/11, right where their friendship started. now, since yuri and hongjoong knew each other for so long and had so many late night talks, they know a lot of stuff about each other, embarrassing stuff, and stuff that they wished they didn’t even know, and they are never ashamed to mention a crazy story whenever they feel like it.

deep spicy tea alert!! — as mentioned before yuri and hongjoong spent every single day, almost every hour with each other. spending that much time together, something is bound to happen. one night, hongjoong and yuri were hanging out in the studio as usual, having their late night tea session as they always did every friday. yuri had her head resting on hongjoong’s shoulder with her knees resting on his thighs, and hongjoongs arm was wrapped around yeongmi’s shoulders, playing with the ends of her hair every so often.

“i couldn’t believe that bambam turned yeseul down, like, it’s yeseul! how do you not want to dance with the yeseul. it just doesn’t add up. and from what jae told me, bambam kept looking around at the party, so he must have something going on with someone. if it’s that girl that stole his hockey tickets and used them to take her sneaky link to again i’m going to beat his ass, he can do better!” yuri complained, looking up to hongjoong when she was finished, and usually, hongjoong would agree with her and add on to it, but there was something else in his eye that she couldn’t ignore. his eyes were sparkling with adoration, and before she knew it, hongjoong was leaning down and giving her a kiss on the lips. she could feel his face tense up, but his lips lingered, and even though yuri was confused, she couldn’t deny that he was an excellent kisser.

his lips tasted strawberries, either from his lip balm or the candy he was eating earlier. it felt pleasant to kiss him, but it didn’t feel right. she didn’t feel a spark, she didn’t feel a passion. she could feel hongjoong’s eyebrows furrow, like he was confused why he even did that.

the adrenaline faded, and hongjoong immediately sprung back and threw himself to the other side of the couch. he didn’t know why he did that, he didn’t have feelings for yeongmi, he never even dreamt or day dreamed about kissing her, but for some reason he did. he couldn’t deny that yeongmi was a beautiful and charming girl, but, he didn’t see himself dating her. he was her best friend.

“i don’t know why i just did that…” hongjoong muttered, squeezing his eyes shut before looking over at yeongmi, sighing when he saw her smile, the kind of smile that tells you “everything is okay”.

“it’s okay, you just wanted to see what’d be like. i’ve been wondering what it would be like to kiss you for awhile now too, if i’m being honest.” yuri said, chuckling a bit when she saw hongjoongs terrified look. “i don’t have feelings for you. i’m just…testing out a theory. i’m not too sure if i like guys.”

hongjoong sighed out of relief, “good, because no offense, but to me youre just my friend. i guess youre right. it’s nice to explore every so often. i’m kinda curious too…” hongjoong said, whispering out the last part. he never talked about his sexuality to anyone, he never felt this comfortable to even think about it in the same room as someone. “how do you even know who you’re attracted to?”

“i don’t know. i just go with the flow.”

hongjoong smiled, and scooted back to where he was sitting before, and yuri cuddled right back into hongjoong’s side like nothing even happened. “now, tell me more about bambam and this other girl.” hongjoong said, holding back his laugh when yuri practically jumped out of her soul to tell the story.

seonghwa

seonghwa and yuri are the cutest duo you will ever meet. almost too cute. seonghwa never fails to make yuri be cute, even if she swears up and down she’s not cute, after 10 minutes of persuading, yuri is doing whatever he or atiny wanted her to do. he breaks down her “cool” persona and makes her into a bubbly happy girl.

they have 0 serious pictures together, they are always pulling silly faces or doing something behind the other to photo bomb the picture. the two of them will have a few weeks where they just be absolute menaces to each other, and then as soon as the other buys one food, they pretend like they didn’t just post videos of the other snoring on twitter for the whole world to see and act like the worlds greatest best friends.

seonghwa has mastered the act of waking yuri up after a long schedule or just in general, but only he can do it without getting yelled at (poor san and yeosang had to learn the hardway). first, he makes her coffee just the way she likes, two shots of espresso with three pumps vanilla, almond milk, and of course, ice. yuri loves iced coffee in the mornings and hot coffees at night. then, once he sets the coffee on her nightstand, he turns on her fairy lights, lights her candles, and sits at the foot of her bed, gently rubbing her legs. it takes awhile, but it’s better to have a happy yuri in the mornings than a grumpy yuri.

atiny’s always say that yuri is seonghwa’s spoiled daughter, and all the other members are the unwanted ones. seonghwa always offers to pay for her meals on camera, but when they are off camera, seonghwa and yuri bicker constantly. yuri is always poking and annoying seonghwa, while seonghwa is always mocking yuri and making fun of her drink choices. they are just like siblings, act perfect infront of the camera then are crazy at home.

deep spicy tea alert!! — now, yuri and seonghwa are always so sweet and nice to eachother, even when they are teasing each other. they rarely take the teasing too far. but one day, seonghwa was just really tired and stressed, and he did not have the energy to deal with the teasing yuri was giving him. she was harassing him about how the one night he talked in his dream, telling the air how he was going to finish the song later and then yelling at it to go away and leave him alone — and seonghwa was tired of hearing her tell the story over and over again, so, he snapped.

“if you tell that story one more time yuri i’m going to tell everyone how you tripped and fell out of your own bed.” seonghwa threatened, giving yuri a dirty look — which didn’t phase the girl at all. yuri only giggled and turned around, continuing to tell embarrassing stories about seonghwa to the members. yuri didn’t get the hint that seonghwa was truly annoyed until he stormed off and left the room, the door slamming behind him.

“i guess i really hit a nerve….” yuri whispered, sighing and going to follow him. when she found him, he was sleeping against the wall in the hallway, his mouth open and his head awkwardly resting on his neck. yuri smiled, and gently poked him, guiding him to her studio and setting him on her couch. seonghwa tried to protest, but yuri just hushed him and sat him back down.

“shh, take a nap. you need it. i’ll come wake you up when we actually start practice.” yuri whispered, smiling when seonghwa nodded and immediately closing his eyes, his body relaxing as he let himself fall asleep. seonghwa later did apologize about how he acted, and even bought yuri a coffee because he felt so bad. yuri forgave him immediately, because all of us have bad days.

he's furious. ivy has just as much talent, if not more, than everyone else in the room

but he knows he can't show it, being the leader of the group.

Like a Girl is the seventh mini album of the fictional South Korean girl group, GIRL TALK, released on November 16, 2023, through Delphi Entertainment and XG Labels. It’s available digitally and physically and has seven tracks with “Get It” being its title track. There are three versions of the album; “Get”, “Kill”, and “Hit”. GIRL TALK promoted “Get It” and “Nobody Knows” for six weeks.

“Get It” received nine music show wins. The music video received 70.4 million streams and 5.3 million likes in 24 hours. They posted daily content videos of “Sleep-Over with GIRL TALK” on their YouTube channel, held several online and in-person fansigns, as well as appearing on multiple variety shows. They also released the “Kill It” and “Hit It” dance practice versions. As usual, their girl crush and mature concepts always go viral, and this time, it was no exception.

Two weeks after Like a Girl was released, Delphi Entertainment announced GIRL TALK’s documentary film; The Girls Talk. Produced by Jordan Hwang, The Girls Talk is a documentary film that emphasizes each members’ individuality and struggles. According to Hwang, the girls “get real”. The Girls Talk was released on November 30, 2023, in select theaters worldwide. Due to popular demand it re-entered theaters in select countries on December 20 and 21 2023. The film is to be released on YouTube Premium on February 24, 2023.

The comeback was announced on October 20th, giving fans and the public a few weeks to prepare. After it was announced, Yuuri went live with the title “AND THE GIRLS ARE BACK!” where she would spoil Nobody Knows, giving fans the first taste of their newest album. Soojin came in a moment after and took her phone away like she was a child, ending the live with a swift but sweet goodbye.

Now that fans knew that the album would involve a mature concept, boy, were they excited. Of course, they love all concepts by the girls but there’s always something about their mature concepts. Of course, non fans were excited, too.

Minji helped write Get It with Cho Yoonkyung, Holly helped Yoonkyung with Nobody Knows. Minji completely wrote ICU and all the girls wrote 21:29.

The music video would get 70.4 million streams and 5.3 million likes within 24 hours. Therefore beating their previous record of 79.8 million with Devil.

Get It debuted high on the charts, #1 on Bugs, #5 on MelOn, #7 on Genie, and #50 on Flo. It was #19 on Billboard 200. Nobody Knows also debuted #4 on Bugs, #6 on MelOn, and #90 on Flo. The girls tweeted a ten second video of them just screaming. No talking, no pausing, just screaming and then it ends. They followed up with another video, thanking the fans and everyone who listened to them.

Minji said ICU was to a close friend of hers, letting them know she’s always there for them, even oceans apart. She didn’t say which friend, but from the girls’ reactions, it’s safe to assume it’s about someone else.

The girls wrote 21:29 for the fans, one of the many. It was a tearjerker, Holly tears up when they first performed it live at an in person fansign.

Get It and Nobody Knows were promoted for six weeks from November 17th to December 17. Their first out of nine win for Get It was two days later on Inkigayo. They had two additional wins for Nobody Knows— which one of them they won against Get It.

As usual, the girls were active on social media. They especially posted a lot on TikTok, posting videos nearly every day and when they skipped one, Blossoms jokingly wondered if the girls were kidnapped or dead. They replied to fans on social media and had one or two lives each week.

They went on variety shows such as Knowing Bros and Minji and Mei guest starred in Running Man. Yuri joked on Knowing Bros that she wished We Got Married was still airing, she wanted to be on it. You can imagine netizens’ reactions. They also went on Jimmy Kimmel and performed.

Throughout the era, they released all three versions of Get It’s dance practices. They also released their MMA and GDA performance dance practices. On December 25, they released a special dance practice video where they wore similar outfits to the Mean Girls’ Santa dresses. Soojin and Mei got the cutest outfits and solo stans were pissed.

Most of the girls stayed their natural dark hair color, while Yuri was blonde and Minji dyed her hair blonde halfway through the era, saying that the blonde hair in her photocard was a wig.

Oh, this was Minji and Holly’s eras. They just shined really brightly in this one, going viral almost every other day for a fancam or something they did or said.

People gave Minji such backhanded compliments for her lyrics and voice while somehow degrading her to a ‘dumb blonde’. Holly went viral for her Nobody Knows fancam, people stating it was her choreo like she just does it like it was made for her.

As usual, Yuuri went viral for all the wrong things. People took her words a bit too seriously like her We Got Married comment, and her saying their comeback was the best comeback the entire year. Stupid things like that.

Antis didn’t have one thing to complain about Mei this era for, but you know— they still did.

It’s not a GIRL TALK comeback if there’s not at least one dating rumor. This era’s victim was Soojin, what a surprise.

All of the girls went viral for Nobody Knows, multiple fancams of theirs for the song had more than two million views. This brought more attention to them, both bad and good.

Some people thought it was somehow too raunchy …? As Holly said, “They don’t like people showing their ass, I guess.”

Twitter was in hell for Blossoms. Like it was a constant war every day. They had to defend the girls from so many other fandoms, who called them sluts or untalented, etc. You know the works.

They attended Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade in New York and all stops of the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball tour, meeting a few celebrities such as Sabrina Carpenter, Olivis Rodrigo, Doechii, Melanie Martinez, SZA, and more.

GIRL TALK went to AAA, MMA, SMA, GDA, and CCMA. They went home with at least one award every show.

They released their documentary film The Girls Talk on November 30 in select theaters. The girls shed light on past incidents, reminisce together, and even visit their families in the film as a way to go back to their roots after finding stardom. It will be released on YouTube Premium on February 24, 2024.

On midnight January 1st, the girls dropped a music video for 21:29, a thank you gift to them, concluding the Get It era.

Speculation has been mounting within the K-pop community following cryptic hints and ambiguous statements from Roux, a member of the popular group ATEEZ. Recent interviews and social media posts have left fans wondering about her sexual orientation, leading to heated debates and divided opinions among supporters and netizens.

Things such as, when asked about her type, she never addressed anything directly connected to any gender, alluding to the possibility of her not being straight. On instagram, aside from constantly sharing songs from queer artists, she also flirts with fans and some of her female friends.

Chapter One: Pompeii

Part One: The Rumbling

The once never setting sun of the Roman empire was engulfed by a looming cloud of darkness coating the province. It could be felt in all corners of the ever reaching domain. The heavy feeling made dogs howl in discomfort and birds fly away in search of refuge from the ominous presence. Something was coming. Then, BOOM! The bustling market square of Pompeii began to violently crumble as the nearby volcano of Mount Vesuvius spewed with lava. The screams of the unsuspecting citizens filled the air as the entire city was coated in the molten liquid. Just like that, the once-prosperous city of Pompeii was completely and utterly destroyed. The remnants of the city were a clear indication that there was no going back to the way the world once was.

Aurora was unusually tired today, but a smile crept on her face as she got out of her car- eager to get into the building. She had a rough day and all she wanted to do was see his handsome face. Even though they had not been the most stable as of late, she really couldn’t believe how lucky she was to have him. Zayn was smart, funny, caring, rich and most importantly one of the sexiest men alive. All Aurora could think about was how happy she was as she stepped into the elevator and pressed the button to the top floor. She clutched the bottle of wine she held against her chest as she thought about the first day they had met.

“Fuck.” The curse escaped her lips she was relentlessly pelted with rain. It came without warning and her umbrella chose today of all days to give up on her. She struggled with the useless contraption for a few more minutes before accepting her fate.

In an attempt to hurry her way out of the rain, Aurora stepped in an unforgiving crack in the concrete and nearly lost her balance. She groaned in frustration, refusing to look down at what she could feel was a broken high heel shoe. “Could this day get `any fucking worse?”

Unfortunately for her, it did.

Aurora stepped into her building and nearly walked back out. Her typically hectic office was now a respectable place of business? No interns were running around like chickens with their heads cut off. No frustrated assistant managers were barking orders at overworked employees. Everything looked as it should be, causing Aurora to wobble her way past her office to the finance department at an unwavering pace.

“Psst Lilly, Lilly come here.” The short, busty, blonde looked up from her computer with wide eyes before rushing over to Aurora.

“Girl, what are you doing?” Lilly said, ushering Aurora out while looking around frantically. “Also, what happened to you?” Lilly took a beat, taking in Aurora’s unruly appearance.

“My umbrella broke, “ Aurora pouts. “What’s going on, why is it so… quiet?” Lilly looked at her friend crazily before pulling out her phone to show Aurora her reflection. Aurora stared at Lilly’s phone in confusion for a moment before snatching it in absolute disbelief. She looked like a haphazard raccoon. She hurriedly looked through her bag for something to wipe away the smudged mascara from underneath her eyes.

“Today is the quarterly review Aurora!” Lilly whispered. “How could you forget?” Aurora’s eyes widened in horror, still searching her bag for her wet wipes. She couldn't catch a break today.

“Here,” she says, shoving Lilly’s phone back into her hands and checking her rolex. “Okay, I have 5 minutes to not look like this, great. I’ll see you later Lills.” Aurora turned to walk away and ran straight into what she thought was a wall. However, the excruciating pain of a burning liquid trickling down her right boob let her know that it must not have been a wall.

“I am so sorry,” a deep British accent regrettably expressed.

It definitely was not a wall.

“I did not see you coming at all. Gimme a sec, I’ll go get you a napkin, or rather I’ll get you a few-” Aurora raised her hand to cut him off. She was already soaking wet, what would a little hot liquid do to her.

“Unless you can get me a new shirt or you can turn back time, you really wouldn’t be helping me here pal.” Aurora laughed lightly before finally looking up and nearly freezing. The man that stood before her was the definition of tall, dark and handsome. “Uh, but thanks anyways.” Aurora said, trying to save herself from the embarrassment she felt after looking at him.

“I’m Zayn, by the way. Zayn Malik.” The name sounded familiar but didn’t really ring any bells for Aurora, so she just smiled and shook his extended hand. His smile was absolutely distracting and he was still holding on to her hand. Albeit because he was still waiting for her to introduce herself. “And you are?”

“Oh, sorry, I’m Aurora Lewis. I’m an executive assistant in the department of marketing and strategy.” Aurora smiled, unbalanced in her broken heel. “It’s very nice to meet you, but unfortunately you caught me at a very bad time.” She finally released her hand from his to gesture to her chaotic appearance. “I usually don’t look this insane- hopefully.” She laughed lightly and he joined her. “But I do have to go clock-in. It was very nice meeting you Zayn”

“Do not worry about clocking in. I’ve got you. Just go ahead and do what you need to do and I’ll meet you in your office.” Aurora cocked her head to the side in confusion.

“I’m sorry?” She had no clue what he was talking about. At that moment, Lilly quickly interlocked their arms, forcefully yanking Aurora until they were side by side.

“Aurora, isn't our branch manager Zayn so kind to let you go clean up before you have to go over your quarterly review with him?” Lilly said while secretly pinching Aurora’s hip. “You are really a good branch manager.” She laughs tightly while Aurora tenses in realization.

After that first meeting with him, he kept around her office. She never imagined that he was coming around to see her, until he asked her out on a date. Now they were happily engaged. Aurora sighed at the thought, nearly floating off the elevator to meet her love. She made her way to his apartment door, about to place the key into the lock when the sound of a moan was heard from the otherside of the door.

Aurora stood there for a moment, unmoving. The moan she heard definitely belonged to a woman and her fiance was not a woman, as far she knew. She carefully weighed her options. If I barge in there and there’s no woman and I look crazy, I don’t know what I’ll do. But, if I barge in there and he is with a woman… She clutches her keys tightly within her hand. She’s made up her mind.

As soon as Aurora opens the door, the sounds of moans and a creaking bed bounces off the walls, and then crams itself into her ears. The sounds reverberated in her head. Aurora couldn’t believe what she was hearing. There was no way that her sweet, loving fiance would do this to her. He loved her- he proposed to her for god sake. But feelings of dread filled her chest as she looked down at her feet to see a pair of black Louis Vuitton heels that did not belong to her.

In that same moment, she heard a woman’s voice moan out his name. Aurora’s chest heaved up and down at a rapid pace. She was getting worked up and fast. Without a second thought, Aurora picked up one of the shoes and rushed down the hall to the master bedroom. Busting through the door, she found exactly what she thought she would see. Her, soon to be ex, fiance on top of another woman.

Zayn quickly rushed off the unknown woman, both of them scrambling to cover their naked bodies with his duvet. “A-aurora?” He said in confusion. “Baby I-“ He was cut off by a black Louis Vuitton shoe to his face.

“You fucking asshole!” Aurora shouted angrily. “You- ugh.” Aurora turned on her heels, stopping herself from throwing the very heavy bottle of wine in her hands. She needed to get far away from this to keep herself out of jail. One look at her dark skin and kinky coils would be enough for a police officer in Seattle to send her to the big house for the rest of her life. So she ran away, as fast as she possibly could.

Once Aurora put enough distance between his apartment and her physical being, she pulled her car off on to the side of the road. She quickly turned on her hazards before letting it all out. She screamed and cried and heaved until her voice gave out. Her fist flying out in front of her in a way that could only be explained as chaotic, but she was still careful not to hit her horn. When she was all cried out, she just laid against her steering wheel in a daze.

Aurora did not know how long she had been laying in this car, but when she first left her ex’s house the sky was coated in a pinkish hue that faded into orange. Now it was so dark that she could not see in front of her without her low beams. That’s when she decided it was probably time to sit up. She reached for her phone that she had thrown in the passanger ‘s side, puffy eyes instantly being blinded by the brightness.

Anger filled her chest when she saw the amount of missed calls and unread text she had from Zayn. He was still texting her, even as Aurora blocked his number. She then decided to call her best friend, her one and only. Lilly would know what to do, she decided. Just when she went to call Lilly, she was suddenly distracted by the feeling of someone watching her. The feeling was eerie and sank into her chest like an anchor, but it sent ripples of a cold up the ridges of her spine. Nope, time to go. She would just call Lilly when she got home.

“He what?! Are you fucking serious?” Lilly’s voice echoed through the hallway. Aurora had Lilly on speaker as she unlocked the door to her apartment. She hurried into the safety of her home, still unnerved from the feeling of being watched earlier.

“Wait, hold on.” Lilly said in confusion. “Did you say you threw her shoe at him?” Aurora cracked a smile. She did throw a shoe at him.

“It hit him smacked dab in the middle of the face, girl.” Aurora said through a cloud of laughter. “I just chucked that shit at him.” This made Lilly burst out into her own fit of laughter.

“You’re such a queen.” Lilly and Aurora laughed for a few more seconds before Lilly got extremely quiet. “Hey… Rory,” she said slowly, “I’m coming over okay. Just give me like 30 minutes.”

Aurora found tearing up again. “Okay,” she whispered. “I’m going to order us some pizza and I have this wine I was supposed to… I have some wine.” Aurora says as she finds her way to the couch before letting her body sink into the cushions. “Just call me when you get here.”

The two girls say their goodbyes and Aurora instantly regrets it. Deciding her house was too quiet, she turned on the TV. The white noise of some random show will drown out the rising feelings of sadness that welled up in her chest. Suddenly, the show she was watching was interrupted with news of a woman going missing near some new night club downtown. Aurora listened for a moment, but could not bring herself to pay enough attention to the details of the case. Feeling guilty, she just ended up turning the TV off. “I should order that pizza now.”

Coincidentally, Lilly and the pizza arrived at the same time. Luckily for Aurora- who had spent the better half of 15 minutes practically inhaling that bottle of wine- she had a sober best friend. One who generously paid the pizza man who had been patiently waiting at the door.

Aurora watched as Lilly placed the pizza down and then stood before her. Aurora’s eyes were red and puffy, a result of a combination of sobbing for dear life and relentless glasses of wine.

Aurora spent the better half of the night in Lilly’s arms, sobbing at the unfortunate series of events that was now her love life. All of the crying had sobered her up and left her drained. Aurora suddenly sat up angrily, remembering a fight she and Zayn had gotten into a couple of weeks before he proposed.

“Do you remember when I told you that there was something going on with him,” Aurora furrowed her eyebrows. “He was acting weird and we were fighting a lot during that time… I tried to break up with him, but that piece of shit begged me to stay. Do you think he was already cheating then? Why ask me to fucking stay if you were just going to cheat on me?”

Aurora buried her face into Lilly’s boobs and clung to her tightly. “How could he do this to me Lills?” Aurora whispers sadly, the anger she felt moments ago quickly turning into tears.

Lilly rested her head on top of Aurora’s unsure of what to do. She felt as if there was nothing she could say that would make Aurora feel better, so she just held her instead.

“Well,” Lilly started hesitantly, “at least you didn’t marry him. That could have made this whole situation so much worse.” Aurora sighed, scaring a very anxious Lilly into thinking that she said the wrong thing. She hadn’t. That was the silver-lining in all this. Aurora didn’t marry that two-timing sack of shit and she can toss this engagement ring off a bridge.

The ring. Aurora looked down at her hand, now very aware of the Cartier diamonds on her finger. She had to get rid of this. In fact, she did not understand how she could still be wearing it. She sat up, moving away from Lilly’s embrace. Placed her hand on her ring, but could not find the strength to pull it off her finger. Instead, she broke down.

Aurora was pulled back into her bestfriend’s arms. “I know, beautiful,” Lilly said gently. “Come on, let's get you ready for bed, ok?” Aurora simply nodded and allowed Lilly to pick her up off of the couch. After all she went through today, she needed to sleep. Tomorrow would be a new day, a better day.

Tomorrow is not a better day, Aurora thought to herself as she sat inside of a meeting with her supervisor, regretting the many glasses of wine from the night before.

“I am just not sure where your head has been at, Aurora. You’re usually so on the ball.” This entire meeting consisted of her using all her willpower not to scream at him. Especially, considering the only reason why she had been struggling to keep up with new projects was because of him.

Allen Lawson is the biggest dick she had ever met in Washington state. He is overly confident, obnoxious, sleazy and subtly racist. When Aurora first met him, he asked her if her hair was: “all hers.” Then told her that if there was anything she would ever need, she could always come to him. Which would have been a nice gesture, if it had not been for him latching onto her hand with the creepiest smile she had ever seen. To top it all off, the moment Aurora reached a higher position within the company, he found every excuse to dump his workload on her. This was most likely payback for all the rejected lunch outings he offered her.

That brings us to where we are now, Allen standing over her with a condescending look on his face as he fakes concern for her lack of performance. “Aurora,” he said sternly, “I have given you too many warnings. If you cannot handle your position, I am going to have to ask you to step down.” Aurora angrily clenches her jaw, biting back the words that are threatening to claw their way past her tongue.

“Allen,” Aurora starts calmly, “I have worked for this company since I was 18 years old. I have, for the past six years, built an impeccable reputation for getting things done right. I would like to remind you, the only reason that we have not started this new project is because you did not approve the budget that was sent to you by the finance team- again.” She said without missing a beat, folding her hands on the table in front of her.

Allen faltered. He usually had his secretary check his emails but she had recently quit. He cleared throat before saying: “ Regardless of whether I got to it or not, this project was your responsibility.” Aurora almost rolled her eyes. “But seeing as I do share some blame in this situation...” Yeah majority of the blame. Aurora thought to herself. “I will not ask you to resign but I will be putting you on probation for the foreseeable future.”

“What does that mean, exactly?” Aurora said curiously. She really hoped that it did not mean that she would have to work closely with Allen again. That was the upside to her current title of head of the marketing and strategy department, she could use her workload as an excuse to never speak to him.

“Well, I am in need of a new secretary...” No. “So I’ll just take care of my duties, take on some of yours, and I’ll delegate the rest. As for what you will be doing…During this time, you will become my acting secretary.” Allen proclaimed proudly, impressed with his solution. Aurora could feel her brow twitching. “That way, you can see how I run things. It'll give you a chance to see some new strategies and in the meantime, we can get to know each other a little better.” m

Realizing she really didn’t have any other choice, Aurora forced a wide smile on her lips. “That sounds like a great idea Allen.” Fake it till you make it.

WANTEEZ EP.1

“What’s her concept?” Mingi asked his tall friend who was peeking by the gate to get a glimpse of their short female friend, bent down smelling the flowers and taking in the country scenery..

“I think she was going for a drama student.” Yunho answered, “I’m excited to see how she will react.” His tall friend nodded in agreement beside him.

“Ah! I heard this school will be doing a play soon. Lucky for me, I have the script.” She pulls out the script that was stashed in her bag (the only thing in her bag).

[When did she prepare that?]

“I should start practicing before my audition.” She clears her throat. “Oh Romeo, Romeo! Wherefore art thou Romeo?” She exaggerated her hand gesture and spoke in a higher pitch tone.

[Oh not bad]

She then whirled around and switched her voice into a low tone, “It is the East and Juliet is the sun. Why is thou so far? Why can’t thou be near me? Life is so tough.”

[Nevermind]

[It's not even the right lines]

She fakes her tears, whipping it away with her hand. “And scene!” She finished her acting, “I will definitely get the part of Romeo.”

[Her future acting career is looking rocky]

She turned around to continue walking when she realized a guy triple her size with big muscles in a similar uniform coming towards her. And more importantly, he had witnessed her do all that stuff.

Amanda concealed her face with the paper in her hands as she laughed at herself and this awkward situation.

[shielding her embarrassment]

She unveiled herself once she calmed down and plastering on a confident smile as she began to walk towards him, “Hello.”

[acts like nothing happened]

Before the giant muscle boy could reply a faint male voice came from the distance behind him “Hey! Run! You’re late!”

She glanced over him and spotted a group of teenage boys running towards her, screaming their lungs off. Amanda halted her movement, completely flustered.

[What’s Amanda’s plan? Run? Scream?]

As the rowdy bunch drew closer she pondered on what to do. At the last second she moves to the edge of the sidewalk as the group of boys pushed past her.

[Answer: Stay out of their way]

Her mouth gaped, confusion was written all over her face, before she disappointedly shakes her head and shrugs, “Boys.”

She observed the boys beginning to slowly line up and casually walk towards a gate. After closer inspection, she spotted the teacher by the entrance and decided to quietly blend in with the rowdy boys. She trails behind them as they entered the school and politely bowed to greet the teacher.

[Merging with the crowd]

As she walked through the entrance she saw Yunho and Mingi in plank position. She was almost in the clear after passing them until she heard a familiar voice yell, “Teacher, that girl there is late.”

Mingi.

[Plan Failed]

“Student. Come back here.” The teacher called her out. With her head down, she scurried over to the teacher, “You’re late.”

“I’m sorry.” She apologized as she deeply bowed, “I got lost. I'm a transfer student.”

“Ah, a transfer student. Shin Aera-sshi.” He read her name tag that was pinned on her shirt.

She responded with a small nod and a timid “yes.”

“What’s wrong with your hair?” He asks after noticing the dyed blonde streaks in her hair.

“I’m an actress. I have an audition soon.”

“I see. Well, join your friends.” He pointed down to the two tall boys still struggling in their plank positions.

“They aren’t my friends. I don’t know them.” She firmly stated.

“Become friends then.”

“I don’t want to be friends with troublemakers. It could lead me down a bad path.”

“Who are you calling troublemakers?” Yunho complained.

“We would be great friends.” Mingi added.

“Hush you two.” He silence the boys before returning his attention back to Amanda, “Smart kid. Okay, go inside.”

“Thank you!” She bowed. “Bye, boys!” She sent them a cheeky smile and wave before walking away with the two boys' complaints sending her off.

[Shin Aera attends school successfully]
