Seeing the 'age in bio discourse'... I mean I only have my age range. People are acting like you've shit on their grandma for asking to clarify that you're an adult. Imo (as someone who peruses more nsfw stuff here on Tumblr dot hell) it's really helpful to have ur age in bio since so many nsfw blogs (understandably) don't want underaged people interacting with their posts. Yes people lie, but the nsfw OP has done all they can to stop minors from seeing that, and for some of these blogs that includes blocking ageless blogs/ blogs run by younger people . Idk I just think that the angle of 'omg haha ur so stupid anon for asking people to show their age don't you know people Lie' and also like 'I've been on the internet too long to show my age' like... First bit is just mean spirited second is just like ... Okay no one was accusing you of being a kid. Just some circles of the site have a trend of showing age. That could literally just be 'adult' or '30s'. It doesn't have to be your exact age. Also if you aren't sharing any other personal details on Tumblr who is going to be able to figure out if it's you based on age. Idk, maybe I'm just a naive 20smth but I really don't think it's that deep to ask and it's making me kinda annoyed seeing that post circulate lol.
