most popular one-shot: how is popular defined? and what about one-shot? if one-shot is like 20k or less and non-chaptered and if popular is defined by hits, then my most popular one is technically my first ever fic, All I Need is Oxygen (and You). i do think that’s... not quite accurate since i posted that back in 2014 when the fandom was much larger lol BUT it did just hit 1000 kudos like sometime between yesterday and today, so i’ll let it be considered my “most popular” one-shot in celebration lol (by kudos though it would be Drawn to You)

most popular multi-chap: again, if we’re going by hits to determine popularity then my most popular multi-chap is... This Ain't Just a Thing That You Give Up. again, i think it’s because it’s my SECOND oldest fic lollll bigger fandom, all that. but whatever. if we’re going by kudos, though, it would be... oh. the same. lolll guess that’s what happens when most of my fics aren’t chaptered and if they are they’re usually rare pairs lol

favorite story you’ve written so far: uhhhh rude. lol i have posted 141 fics (holy shit when the hell did that happen? didn’t i just hit 100???) so picking a favorite is so so hard. sigh. it’s probably a rare pair, though. lollll all three of my longer rare pairs (my tomlinshaw You Don't Care About Me (One More Night), my grouis I'm Ready for the Worst, and my nory series I Go Down Blazing, Feeling Like I'm Going Crazy) are some of my absolute favorite stories i’ve ever told. end of.

fic you were nervous to post: oh heavens. there were quite a few, and all because they were so personal to me, but i think the one i was most nervous to post was (Something's Been) Hiding In My Heart. there was already a very much beloved and incredibly well written sweet home alabama au in the fandom, and then there i was, writing my own with several differences and putting a LOT of myself and my own emotions into the story. it was incredibly scary to put that fic out to the world, but thankfully i’ve been treated with such kindness and support that it really was worth it and made me a bit more brave to continue putting myself out there like that.

how do you choose your titles: almost always song lyrics haha usually they’re lyrics from a song i was obsessed with while writing or that was on a playlist i listened to a lot around that same time, etc. it’s just a lyric that seems to work generally

do you outline: mmmmm sometimes. haha some fics i have very detailed outlines for, like my long tomlinshaw. i knew exactly what months and years i would have scenes for and the basic idea of what would be happening in those scenes. other fics i have the general plot arch figured out but have to fill in everything in between including a lot of details as i go. and then others, like one of my big bangs a few years ago, i go into it with an incredibly basic idea and the fic just flows from me as i fly by the seat of my pants and inspiration. lol just depends on the fic i guess.

complete: oh, well i said above 141, though i have another 2 that are complete and uploaded or i’m procrastinating uploading for a fest that’s due at the end of the week haha so i guess 143?

in progress: i mean... at the moment where i’m sitting there’s not really ANYTHING in progress... but hopefully tonight my big bang will be in progress lollll

coming soon/not yet started: my @onedirectionbigbang fic and as soon as i’m done writing that one, my @harryandmenfest fic! who wants some fun garry??? hahahaha (that’s greg james and harry for all of you outside the three i rave to about greg james on a regular basis lol)

prompts?: i literally have a fic list. it’s in my planner, i change it monthly lollll some are prompts i’ve started on, some are ideas i’ve had that i want to write and haven’t had a chance to yet, etc etc etc. so yeah i have a lot, and i also have a prompts tag for whenever i (or another writer friend) needs an idea for a fic lol

upcoming work you’re most excited about: i mean... all of them really, but defo my big bang. it’s up next and i’m so excited to write it! but i am also suuuuuper happy with the two fics i wrote for @omegaharryficfest, so i can’t wait for everyone to read those as well.
