Imagine how messed up it would be if season 3 starts with a time skip?

King stuck playing along with the Collector's games while trying to protect the members of the boiling isles and figure out a plan,

Eda in hiding and plotting as well, and tending to the wounded,

The kids accepting that they have no way to get back home and living out months of their lives in the human realm, growing and trying to make the best of it.
