i have the specific british tourist hubris which makes me think that there's no way anywhere could be colder than england, the coldest and worst place in the whole entire world, which means that i cannot travel anywhere of a higher latitude to where i currently live without experiencing Consequences

#cf. went to edinburgh AND copenhagen dressed for north-west england weather in the space of about five months #because everyone knows it doesn't get colder than north-west england. This is obvious.#you'd think by denmark i'd have learned my lesson from scotland but well!!!!!!!! reader i did not!!!!!
